Here is a dot point of what needs to be changed: . Old arena system (ranked suck + arena was 10x better) . Different lootpools between arena & casual . Remove cars or disable them in competitive (or arternitavly remove car attachments) . Bring back old simple rotation (ballers, quads & etc) . Remove attachments (they are complicated & people dont seem to understand their use) . two or three balanced weapons from each catagory max . Limit creative map numbers (because of these tycoon games & etc are everywhere + they are painful to look at & play) . Stop colabs & add more unique good skins to the game . Bring back old movements (we dont need sprinting & sliding it just makes things complicated) . no mythics (sometimes they are too op) . Bring back locker raraties & remove age ristrictions in skins . add a more simple enjoyable map (like chapter 1 map) . Old 2 pages shop + old rotation . Old weapon textures (they look better than the current textures & are unique) . Make the game cartoony (thats what made it stand out) . better live events (some where good & others were awful) . Optimizations (the game sometimes have this awful fps spikes that makes it unplayable) . Remove medalions (too op because the perks we are getting are trash it doesent need to show the player on the map ) Tell me in the replies if i missed any & ill add them If you disagree its normal since everyone think differently @TheTimmyFNBR Please pin 🙏 (I did put so much work & effort in this)

I mean the cars got nerfed, boss cars nerfed, the boss cars appears on map now, the guitar mythic was added, the tow hook mythic was added, the crossbow does a lot of damage to cars, and that battle bus is so slow it’s pretty much useless. They are different games and require different amounts of updates because of how they work, in fortnite it's a multiplayer competitive game, if there are no changes everyone gets used to the weapons and it just becomes boring because everyone has the same playstyle. In minecraft though having big updates in months period isnt good, the game relies on your imagination, you do whatever you want, having big changes fast might not be the best thing. the game might lose its core values and also because the game of minecraft can have worlds with years of gameplay, making it hard to add new things to it

The cars in season 3 are fine. Mythic cars might still be a bit busted, but other than that, there are multiple ways to counter them. Boogie bombs, uppercutting with gloves, entering the enemies car if you’re in solos, Nitro + Flowberry Fizz, Siphon, hiding out in towns so they can’t see you/hit you. I understood some frustrations when the season first released, but they’ve balanced it pretty well so far. Many people just don’t like change.

My strat is just grab a Guitar, Combat Shotgun, and Thunder burst SMG, then wait for red pings to show you where enemies are nearby, fly to them with the guitar, the 2 people will be too focused on each other to worry about you dropping in, so you pop the first guy with the combat shotgun, then finish the other guy off with thunder burst SMG. I go 10+ kills most games just doing that.

I loved playing zero build because I felt like I could be silent and sneaky with my duo and "stealth kill" people, relying purely on my skills with aim, shooting and scouting. Now with this season it feels super difficult to do this because you now have someone jumping up in the sky with a guitar!?! Mowing you down with a super car with a turret on it!?! Like I wish they had done this season to be like sand storms in the sand area and focus on thermal/stealth stuff. Nothing that distracts normal gameplay but currently this season is just too overwhelming and I am just a casual... I love change but I don't like basically not being able to use any skill whatsoever to play.

I have just returned from an 18 month hiatus and with a 12 month hiatus before that. I can not do it with the nitro fists and horrid guns. I miss the old games where there were just guns and there was not a special weapon that you can win without. I mean I could deal with planes, the infinity blade, but things like nitro fists, mechs and cars just make it terrible. I agree that you could just drop into the game in chapter 1 and get the do’s or don’ts of the game but now I struggle to get anything down. I miss old Fortnite.

Sweats will not ever get satisfied, they'll always be unsatisfied about something because change is something that takes time to adapt to, and they have been adapting to a meta that if changed puts them at 0 ground again and they'll simply not accept that. The thing is, anything fun requires a change into the meta and as such sweats have become almost allergic to fun.

I think you missed the entire point of the video, what set fortnite apart from every other battle royale was the building mechanic, this season they basically threw that down the garbage disposal and the entire meta is cars. Not only is it not fun, its taking away the core mechanic of the game. And like he said in the video its potentially taking away 10's of thousands of dollars from people who play the game competitively. They need to cater towards casual and competitive players if they want success.

I love Fortnite, been playing since c1 s2 but my god was rocket league fumbled. I actually can't even keep up with the seasons. I have been playing that game since 2016 and it was great although Psyonix was sometimes a little slow with updates and all that but it was great. Then epic games got the game and as we know, epic games destroys every game they lay their hands on.. But now fr: Why did they remove trading? What are all those new cooperations? Items that were worth thousands of dollars are suddenly worthless and the item shop doesn't even make sense at this point. Why can I buy a tw. octane with some other things, that should be worth hundreds of dollars for less than 20 bucks? It's so broken. The removal of trading was also insanely stupid because when trading was still in the game, bakkesmod didn't have an effect on people buying drops because you still needed real items to trade. After it was removed tho there was no reason to buy drops anymore, as the items had no value because you could easily get them with bakkesmod. YAPPING

As a OG player, whose not competitive, this comes across a bit QQ and your fav seasons definitely don't match mine. You come from competitive quick play PoV, where as I come from a lore PoV which you pretty much dismiss with your spire comments. However, we can both agree on one thing. Fortnite does need fixing. For me it broke with the introduction of the new modes (Lego, Rocket Racing, Festival and if gossip is to be believed, more is on the way... e.g. a Disney themed mode?) which I can't see them removing anytime soon, not least because many VBucks have been spent on items for them..... and wrecking the story. Oh, but wait... here comes your solution.... Oh. Cheers.

I recomend using nitro, its very good for geting distance of cars and people trying to smash you with nitro fists (and to have a position advantage in a 1v1), but if you dont want to use its ok.

Hot take: this season is fun. I hear people saying cars are worst than mechs, though that statement falls flat seeing how you can avoid and counter cars which is something you couldn’t do against mechs. There were no gauntlets or guitars to fly you to safety from the mechs, or shield disrupting items that short circuited it. You couldn’t even kill the player cause they were covered by a shield, but that’s not the case with cars. I’ve no problem with people who can’t take it wanting a game mode away from it, cause I feel the same way about building in Fortnite. The existence of zero build is why I even bothered coming back to Fortnite. I just think y’all are stuck on one aspect of the season. Why don’t you try shredding it out in the festival game modes. I assure you there’s no cars there. The past few seasons of Fortnite that I peaked at felt bland, but this one actually has a personality that I can kind of get behind. Granted my opinion probably won’t change the salty opinions of the masses, though I just thought I’d argue it anyway.

One thing I don't tend to like about any large games like Fortnite is how easily swayed the masses are because once pro, or currently pro, players complain. They play to win (which is fair if they're doing it for the championships). I've found this season to be incredibly fun. Having multiple different options for movement has been a blast, and having various counters to the "main" issues to comp players makes the game better. The various gamemodes they also added have been a blast. I sink most of my time into Festival Jam when my friends aren't online to play

I think the weakest element of this video is that it does nothing to touch on zero-build vs build. The entire video is presented as though builds is the only mode in fortnite, igoring the fact that zero-builds have long since been the more popular game mode, which causes you to miss the key element of fortnites recent chapter design which is trying to design chapters in ways that can work even without building, putting more focus on fortnites other elements as opposed to its (lets admit it, tired and overdone) building. It's a huge part of why CH5S3 is designed the way it is, because of its focus on designing for the zero-build gamemode. The rest of the video was interesting at least! Just had a very weak justification at the end because it focused on the tiny demographic of competitive build players, the core element that has people discount fortnite opinions.

I can't do build mode due to the insane skill needed to learn how to build a 5 star hotel after getting shot at, so Zero Build has been my only go to. This season has also been my favourite out of the 3 seasons due to how many counters the vehicles have. Boom Bolt, Heavy Impact Sniper, Magneto Gloves and Emp Grenades, just to name a few. I think one reason why people are complaining about this season is because they now have to account for a new variable

Been a player since day 1, honestly loved the mechas, love the cars, it’s a big twisted metal nostalgia. I think people just got too used to the game being played a certain way, then when they introduced something that makes things tough people get upset. There’s plenty of stuff to counter the vehicles, c4, emp nades, grenade crossbows, other cars, shield bubbles, magneto gauntlets, nitro gauntlets, nitro juice, hook canons, electric guitars, high jacking cars, jumping on the cars and shooting into the windshield etc. Tbh cars sometimes don’t feel safe lol. Just give us a permanent, seperate "OG" mode. Simple map, simple loot pool, smallish updates to keep it fresh, nothing major changing the game from week to week. It's not even about nostalgia, I think people just truly love and enjoy fortnite for what it was and would continue to come back, again and again for that core gameplay.

Been a player since day 1, honestly loved the mechas, love the cars, it’s a big twisted metal nostalgia. I think people just got too used to the game being played a certain way, then when they introduced something that makes things tough people get upset. There’s plenty of stuff to counter the vehicles, c4, emp nades, grenade crossbows, other cars, shield bubbles, magneto gauntlets, nitro gauntlets, nitro juice, hook canons, electric guitars, high jacking cars, jumping on the cars and shooting into the windshield etc. Tbh cars sometimes don’t feel safe lol.

Can I say it? I think the competitive community has ruined this season. Let me explain: I’m not that big fan of Fortnite nowadays (especially from the start of Chapter 4), and I’m not strong at it, but I can adapt to the META in every season. What pro players can’t do (which doesn’t really makes them “pro”) is adapt to the game. Ok, chapter 5 season 3 needed some balancing, but now things like the Nitro (one of the main objects in the season) are literally useless. Nitro now can’t even destroy wood walls…I think this season is ruined (just like C2S6) and the motivation is the same as the Primal one: the competitive community can’t adapt to the new META (and this happens in basically every season). Now I want to remember to everyone that this is a MY OPINION so, if you disagree with me, do not spread hate in the comments. Thank you.

Idk how many times my squad got +40 kills, getting +20 kills was impossible last season. I get wins and all but man, I miss this game when it was just a shooter game, not a mf car game where every single fight starts with one chasing someone else to the other side of the map. I know it changes every season and I was genuinely excited but this season went too far that it feels like a whole new game. I think they should a) add more counters to cars (the tow hook cannon isn't working that well and is mostly just used on players on-foot), I definitely see them trying to do this with the return of shield EMPs which is good b) add some balance to the cars doing damage to builds, such as making it a lot more difficult to destroy metal with a car than other materials

Season 3 is getting better, the cars are getting nerfed by adding more options to deal with them but the changes don’t make the cars useless or weak, the new Metallica update added a bunch of fun things like the guitar which is one the best mobility items ever, a new loot island, and new stuff for rocket racing and festival. About this season, I actually really like it and I think the gameplay is fun but I also hope Fortnite goes in a different direction, with simplicity. It seems like they didn’t really understand the reception to Season OG, but the game was a lot more alive and simple. I think that the storyline is another aspect they are lacking on. Every season, new random stuff shows up and we forget about the years of other things they set up, for it to never matter again. I mean what even happened to the Seven? Or Geno? Or The Last Reality? Or the whole reason we time traveled and the messages between Slone and Jonesy? I think if they improve on those two aspects, the game could finally return to a peak. (Also Chapter 2 season 6 was my favorite Fortnite season of all time. I thought the story was super interesting and the gameplay was fun and new. I think this is due to the fact that that’s the season I started playing Fortnite again for the first time in a long time, but still I will always have fond memories of season 6.)

Agree with everything said! I think to piggy back ontop of the "simplicity" point you're hammering in, each chapter the map expands. So as it gets bigger, Fortnite needs to adjust and accommodate mobility, movement, storm circle, and more. That's why OG and Chapter 1 are untouchable. This is the “kid” season for sure. I know this because I have a cousin who plays this game. He’s 11 and started in chapter 5 season 1.
