I mean the cars got nerfed, boss cars nerfed, the boss cars appears on map now, the guitar mythic was added, the tow hook mythic was added, the crossbow does a lot of damage to cars, and that battle bus is so slow it’s pretty much useless. People can also use nitro to do more damage to cars and to move faster

I played all of chapter 1 except for season x and then didn't play for ALL of chapter or and ALL of chapter 3 and MOST of chapter 4 until I came back like the last two weeks of chapter 4 season 4 back in october. I rly loved chapter 4 season 4 but weirdly didn't like season OG that much until the end where I wished I had appreciated it more (probably because sweats crowded the game the first week). Chapter 5 season 1 was kinda boring, season 2 was really good, and season 3 is absolutely terrible so far

how to fix fortnite in 4 steps 1. hitscan guns 2. no atachments 3. map updates every 1/2 weeks big or small ( small is like adding trees in dusty divot. This season has issues but saying these cars are worse than the mechs is either intentional clickbait or ignorant recency bias. The mechs were harder to beat and lasted an ENTIRE season. The cars were easier to beat and got heavily nerfed after a week, then a week later had counters added to the game. Terrible take by this channel

I think they should a) add more counters to cars (the tow hook cannon isn't working that well and is mostly just used on players on-foot), I definitely see them trying to do this with the return of shield EMPs which is good b) add some balance to the cars doing damage to builds, such as making it a lot more difficult to destroy metal with a car than other materials

This is actually my favorite season so far. I love the theme, battle pass, items, mythics, collabs, all of it. Competitive players are never satisfied with anything. Nothing is ever good enough. Split loot pool is probably the best thing they could do to appease both sides. Revert everything to day 1 stats in normal BR and keep the nerfed stats in Ranked

My main issue with c5 is unnecessary changes, such as bullet drop, movement changes ect. I dont mind more complexity as long as its rewarding and serves a purpose to the games, like forecast towers and boss pois, where they give a side objective to go for to help win a game, and loot island is another good example of mid game objectives as capturing it actually gave points in tournament giving reasons to go for it (not sure if it still does)

The cars in season 3 are fine. Mythic cars might still be a bit busted, but other than that, there are multiple ways to counter them. Boogie bombs, uppercutting with gloves, entering the enemies car if you’re in solos, Nitro + Flowberry Fizz, Siphon, hiding out in towns so they can’t see you/hit you. I understood some frustrations when the season first released, but they’ve balanced it pretty well so far. Many people just don’t like change.

@@darko4251 no rage bait here. Just gotta think outside the box. I don’t even use or worry about cars anymore since they added the guitar to BR. My strat is just grab a Guitar, Combat Shotgun, and Thunder burst SMG, then wait for red pings to show you where enemies are nearby, fly to them with the guitar, the 2 people will be too focused on each other to worry about you dropping in, so you pop the first guy with the combat shotgun, then finish the other guy off with thunder burst SMG. I go 10+ kills most games just doing that.

One criticism I don’t hear often about this season is how broken movement is. It ruins the pace of the game and makes it frustrating. You have cars, bikes flowberries, nitro, shockwaves, nitro rings, nitro fists and now the Metallica guitar? Every match has become a chasing game

I recomend using nitro, its very good for geting distance of cars and people trying to smash you with nitro fists (and to have a position advantage in a 1v1), but if you dont want to use its ok.

@@FabioFalcao-rz8fb I do like using nitro + impulse grenades for mobility, at least if I don't have the fists. Ride the lightning is also new but it's much better for mobility than as a weapon; landing a hit is difficult in my experience

Sweats will not ever get satisfied, they'll always be unsatisfied about something because change is something that takes time to adapt to, and they have been adapting to a meta that if changed puts them at 0 ground again and they'll simply not accept that. The thing is, anything fun requires a change into the meta and as such sweats have become almost allergic to fun.

And with all that said they should not be the standard for balancing demands, because they're not the majority, they're a minority of people who's wants and needs often go against the mostly casual playerbase, the ones who are playing the game for its actual intended purpose: fun. At this point it's not that they want balance anymore, it's that they'll not allow for anything other than what they're already used to, which will kill the game for casual players, the ones who actually keep it alive.

I think you missed the entire point of the video, what set fortnite apart from every other battle royale was the building mechanic, this season they basically threw that down the garbage disposal and the entire meta is cars. Not only is it not fun, its taking away the core mechanic of the game. And like he said in the video its potentially taking away 10's of thousands of dollars from people who play the game competitively. They need to cater towards casual and competitive players if they want success.

And a less chaotic map would also help, you can add things like a huge crater, the marvel island, things like that, but dont do these things with a jungle gap in them middle and stuf like that. And every POI right now is so weird, just go back to a standard map and just place some POI's in there and it would be fine. Just bring back a original but balanced loot pool, for competetive but also pubs. It is so easy to fix if they just listen to us and dont change half the map every season with some random thing noone cares about.

I think I'm in a minority here, but I enjoy complexity when it comes to Fortnite. Like weapon mods, I see people hating on this complicated system, but I really enjoy it. I am a competitive player, with over 4000 hours on the game, so maybe newer/ people who play less can feel overwhelmed by the new mechanics. Post primal crafting was a great system, and I hate how people see crafting only for the primal season. If a complicated mechanic is required to win, it does not fit in Fortnite. But the option to use an advanced mechanic that takes some time to learn, is what Fortnite should be in my opinion. In short, if a season is easy to learn, but hard to master, it is a great season. (sorry this was kinda all over the place)

IDK why ppl think cars are so meta. Try boxing up... but with you outside the box. The car will run thru the box and you can shoot it up. Works every time. You don't even need any of the counter weapons. The best part is I got a pacifist win this season. I was not even aware I can do this. But the last "Fight" was the Don's car trying to run me over just to end up in the storm each time. Was entertaining :D

Season 3 is getting better, the cars are getting nerfed by adding more options to deal with them but the changes don’t make the cars useless or weak, the new Metallica update added a bunch of fun things like the guitar which is one the best mobility items ever, a new loot island, and new stuff for rocket racing and festival. Don’t forget that where also getting or first concert since chapter 2 season 7.

Just give us a permanent, seperate "OG" mode. Simple map, simple loot pool, smallish updates to keep it fresh, nothing major changing the game from week to week. It's not even about nostalgia, I think people just truly love and enjoy fortnite for what it was and would continue to come back, again and again for that core gameplay.

I have just returned from an 18 month hiatus and with a 12 month hiatus before that. I can not do it with the nitro fists and horrid guns. I miss the old games where there were just guns and there was not a special weapon that you can win without. I mean I could deal with planes, the infinity blade, but things like nitro fists, mechs and cars just make it terrible. I agree that you could just drop into the game in chapter 1 and get the do’s or don’ts of the game but now I struggle to get anything down. I miss old Fortnite.

Here is a dot point of what needs to be changed: . Old arena system (ranked suck + arena was 10x better) . Different lootpools between arena & casual . Remove cars or disable them in competitive (or arternitavly remove car attachments) . Bring back old simple rotation (ballers, quads & etc) . Remove attachments (they are complicated & people dont seem to understand their use) . two or three balanced weapons from each catagory max . Limit creative map numbers (because of these tycoon games & etc are everywhere + they are painful to look at & play) . Stop colabs & add more unique good skins to the game . Bring back old movements (we dont need sprinting & sliding it just makes things complicated) . no mythics (sometimes they are too op) . Bring back locker raraties & remove age ristrictions in skins . add a more simple enjoyable map (like chapter 1 map) . Old 2 pages shop + old rotation . Old weapon textures (they look better than the current textures & are unique) . Make the game cartoony (thats what made it stand out) . better live events (some where good & others were awful) . Optimizations (the game sometimes have this awful fps spikes that makes it unplayable) . Remove medalions (too op because the perks we are getting are trash it doesent need to show the player on the map ) Tell me in the replies if i missed any & ill add them If you disagree its normal since everyone think differently @TheTimmyFNBR Please pin 🙏 (I did put so much work & effort in this)

Honestly I disagree with people who say this kind of stuff about the game, I here where your coming from but this is way too harsh.... honestly these people are just mad that they cant box up after hearing a car coming from a mile away, LEARN TO ADAPT, there are many ways to avoid, they might be hard to learn but it will be worth it. Also what happens literally EVERY season is epic releases a fun weapon that is controversial, or a mechanic, they NERF it to the ground then comp players are happy for a while then say the game isn't fun then no one is happy and the season gets stale..... From someone who started playing at the beginning of chapter 5 who fell in love with the game enough to go back and learn about the lore and previous seasons, I always wanted to experience the older seasons. Now that reload is out and even though it’s not 1 for 1 I can say that I wish the new chapter was more like the old. Quality over quantity. I love the simple. About this season, I actually really like it and I think the gameplay is fun but I also hope Fortnite goes in a different direction, with simplicity. It seems like they didn’t really understand the reception to Season OG, but the game was a lot more alive and simple. I think that the storyline is another aspect they are lacking on. Every season, new random stuff shows up and we forget about the years of other things they set up, for it to never matter again. I mean what even happened to the Seven? Or Geno? Or The Last Reality? Or the whole reason we time traveled and the messages between Slone and Jonesy? I think if they improve on those two aspects, the game could finally return to a peak. (Also Chapter 2 season 6 was my favorite Fortnite season of all time. I thought the story was super interesting and the gameplay was fun and new. I think this is due to the fact that that’s the season I started playing Fortnite again for the first time in a long time, but still I will always have fond memories of season 6.)
