That's the latch that locks the gas door when the vehicle is locked.

with Exl, anyone can open the gas door if the car is u lock? no way. is this only for exl? i saw some vlogg, theres press button to open the gas tank door

It may vary from other Honda markets like American Honda vs Canadian Honda. Or even Honda in Europe.

How the hell does this EX-L Pilot (the exact same model as mine) say it has 396 miles in a full tank…. It mine says it has at most 260-270 on a full tank??? Like what the hell??? Could that maybe be a glitch???

It's all computer generated based on your driving history. All kinds of things can effect the mpg

@@CrazyHondaChris-H18 I do drive only to work and home, however I do always almost always have the A/C on 🤔. So if I literally drive slow, no A/C, do you think that could bring the number up?? Or what if I even delete my “trip a” and “trip b”???? Would that reset it basically???? I do appreciate your help and knowledge on this 🙌🏽

No glitch. It's all computer generated based on your driving habits and conditions. Just the law of averages.
