That weird “meme” artwork is actually a caricature of Sonny & Cher.♥️ The antique print that you said had mold isn’t mold - it’s called “foxing”, & is due to iron contaminates in the paper.

The painting looks like it was a Sonny &Cher one from the 70s. I liked the skeleton dish with eye sockets for dip. It was different and would sell for that reason. You taught me that!

The rectangle tray is lead crystal. It's the lead that gives the glass weight and that pale grey color. Even with no name, the piece would have been valued between the 45 and 65 dollar range. The 20 and 30 somethings are discovering that it's fun to have nice tasting parties. 6 or 8 people bring a bottle of something expensive and they all share. I can't keep cordial glasses and pretty crystal serving pieces for very long.

I actually own that skull platter. I am that crazy person that collects all things Halloween. I just display it. I believe I paid around $29.99 new for it. So $6.99 is a great price. And it is an amazing piece, at least for us Halloween fanatics.

white PENCIL eraser for removing marks on matte finishes...just make sure there are no pencil markings on the eraser itself. It doesn't always work but when it does, it's bliss.

Lillian Vernon was founded in 1951, the name of the catalog company you were thinking of. Was very popular for many years but went out of business. They were based here in Virginia Beach, Virginia for the last 22 years before closing operations in 2010. Someone has now revived the name and has an online store. Not sure where it is based.

In 1916 my grandparents got married and they got those fighting chickens set as a gift. I guess it was the in thing at the time. I have the cutting board from that set. I can remember my grandmother using it.

It'd be nice if all the Ebay buyers you would let Goodwill's know about the clear tape removing the gold on glassware. If all the customers would tell them about it every time they see it maybe they would stop destroying the antique glassware. Hopefully. I have been a dealer for 40 years and it's frustrating to see that over and over. Antiques are precious.

Raku is like terra coat pots- not waterproof. Doubtful it’s Raku. Probably just a black stoneware. Or you can add dyes to your clay to add color. Most likely just black clay though. (Hubby and I do Raku at our pottery studio in class)🥰
