I dont know why, but I am addicted to Chenille bed spreads. Maybe it's because the mothers and grandmothers that I loved always had them on their beds. I do pick them up wherever and whatever shape I find them in.

I have a murano handkerchief vase I inherited from my great aunt. She was a WACK during WW2 and spent time overseas and in the areas of Murano. She brought home lots of things including my vase. I didn't think it was signed until I had it in my hand near my glass door and in the light if you turn it the right way I could see the etched signature. It was made by a famous murano artist and I love it. ❤️ I was very surprised. Looking at it just inside with no light you couldn't see it at all. So double check those pieces in the sunlight turned just the right way lol.

My grandmother used to own a thrift store when I was younger. She had a pair of those Siamese cats. Although we didn't know her at the time, my future sister in law bought them. I would see them on her mantel every time we visited her. She passed away a few years ago and our niece inherited them.

I love all the paperweights you found, a lady my mom worked for for 30 years had floor to ceiling shelves in her appointment above her shop and she collected the most beautiful paperweights. I remember as a young girl back in the 70's going upstairs and looking at all the glass paperweights. It's a fun memory form my childhood.

At Minute 12:45 the broken trinket dish with the decorated lid is not a salt and pepper set inside its ink stuff, the open one is for ink the other one is for sand to dry the ink. These are very seldom in good shape.

I have two therom paintings by the same artist. The first one came from Goodwill of a little sailor boy holding his hand up and a blue bird is sitting on his hand. It's really sweet. The second I ordered off of ebay and it's very very tiny of a horse. She and her husband hand make all of their frames. They are both adorable paintings or theroms and I love them both!
