I’m so glad I found your channel! 1. You have an amazing voice, I could listen to you all day! 😊 2. You’re knowledgeable about so many things. I learn so much every time I watch your videos. 🤓 I went to an antique mall last weekend because of your videos. I didn’t find any treasures to resell this time, but I was so happy to finally be brave enough to look at things with reselling in mind. Thank you!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I am English, I do not use a toast rack and no one I know does! Toast racks are old fashioned. Usually find them in hotels or B&B's.
@lynnedelacy28413 жыл бұрын
I’m English and we use a toast rack every time we sit down for breakfast rather than when we have breakfast on the go Toast racks are very practical as they allow the steam to evaporate from the toast to stop it going soggy, as happens when just piled on a plate

Totally unrelated but... I just learned about Jan and Antonina Zabinski. I didnt know the movie, The Zoo Keeper's wife, is based on their real story. I am not Polish but I love learning about history. I didn't even know there was a Polish resistance movement, during WWll, until I learned of the Zabinskis. I hope to visit Poland, in two years. I want to see the Zabinski villa, where the zoo used to be, the street in Warsaw, named after Jan and get some chocolate at E. Wedel. 🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱

I recently picked up a pottery pitcher that was signed for $2.88. I researched, found the artist but no comps. Held onto it for a few months, found one sold comp on a piece so I listed it for what I thought was a ridiculous amount of $350. It had multiple watchers within an hour and sold the next morning for $300!

On the art prints: I think the first one was the number of the print (256/1000 for example). I believe the other number refers to the artist’s signature. Not all numbered prints are also signed. Those two happened to be both! The lower the numbers the more valuable the print. Nice find 👍
@aimee64203 жыл бұрын
The lower number being more valuable is only true of etchings or block prints etc where the plate actually wears down as the prints are made. Those were lithographs and probably were not signed in the order in which they were printed. Artist proofs sometimes sell for more because they used to be the 1st ones run off of the plates for the artist to check over. Saying all that, some people do still like to have a lower number 😊
