Y'all are my dream family! I was adopted by my maternal grandmother, but she was extremely abusive and loved to punch me in the face. She let me and my brothers go into the foster care system before taking custody of me, because we came with a check that way. I left home when I was 17 after a late night beating. Thank God for my Big Sister from Big Brother/Big Sister, because she came to my rescue. My grandma used to brag about taking in all of us grandkids, to keep us together, but she didn't take us until we came with a check. I would have rather been adopted out of the family, like one of my brothers. I found you guys during lockdown 2020, and I've been watching ever since. I never miss a video. I love you guys! You're amazing!❤❤❤

I love the way you are realistic with grocery shopping for a large family. The way you cook in large amounts to allow the family to eat comfortably. I come from a large family of 9 my mom always made food allowing us to eat comfortably seconds if we wanted.

There were only 3 of us growing up with my mom. But mom always cooked a large meal when she cooked that way we had leftovers for a few days. She didn't really like to cook, so it was a win-win situation. My mom could make a mean pot of beans! She doesn't cook much anymore. My 2 sisters have taken over. She still bakes occasionally though.

Absolutely love Costco & Sam's Club, because it reminds me of growing up when my parents would do our monthly US Military Commissary shopping for the eight of us. Our pantry wasn't as big as yours, but it was always stocked, even with things my mom canned, like pickles, tomatoes, jams and Watermelon rinds, her favorite Southern thing. 😍

We are dealing with food shortages and quickly rising prices on the east coast. I can only imagine how it is going to impact your large family in due time. Cosmetics are ridiculous already. Hair spray from $2, now $10, deodorant from $4 to $11, shampoo from $2 to $9, face scrub from $4 to $12! I am now shopping for casserole ingredients for meals, and freezing in portions. Stocking up on OTC medications, peroxide, rubbing alcohol, bath soap, and must have cleaning products before those prices skyrocket. I don't have room for food storage other than the fridge and a couple of cabinets, so now putting storage bins in the bedroom for non perishables. Just a suggestion, but you might want to consider your garage as a pantry with the size of your family!

I’ve gone down the rabbit hole of your Chanel and enjoyed every minute. I am adopted I was adopted with my 3 sisters and before us our parents adopted another set of four sister so 8 total on top of their biological 4 boys. I had a terribly abusive experience and so did a bunch of us in that household. Unfortunately our mom refuses to acknowledge any wrongdoing so I have decided a couple years ago to cut ties for my own well being. It has been so hard not having family other than a couple siblings when I grew up with so many. I have never lost hope that there are good people out there actually taking in kids/ siblings for the right reasons adoption is a traumatic experience in itself but it seems like you give them space and comfort to move forward.

I went from shopping for 5 + to just 1, me. It is hard to not buy in quantity after 40 years of shopping that way. Due to the pandemic & my legs I order Walmart groceries for delivery. Invariably, after an order arrives, I remember half a dozen items forgotten. Plus they substitute with stuff I can NOT have, especially with artificial sweeteners. Gave up on membership shopping after I realized a bundle of paper towels lasted me a year, & a family pack of t-paper lasted half a year, even with the occasional visit of my 3 babies & their 7 babies. Shelley & Jared enjoy them while you have them. I totally understand the 'we may foster/adopt again' attitude. I went from a station wagon that carried 12 kids (carpool Mom) to a 4 seater. Never did get the mini-van or bus I threatened to get. LOL 😅😂🤣
