Next time you pull out your thermals, turn all your lights off first and film it. The static looks like lightning -- It is so cool. No one realizes static electricity is visible sparks. Also, don't leave your rig unlocked while hiking -- you always hike farther than you plan to, and if someone drives up and grabs your stuff, all you can do is yell while scrambling back uphill in the sand to your rig. There are so many jerks around. Anyway, glad you are enjoying Utah. I'm from Illinois but lived here for 40 years. I've camped all over Utah.

Man, I must say, it's so nice to see someone who's not jaded by life. You see things with a sense of awe and wonder, and you have a thirst for knowledge to learn the history of the places that you visit, and youhave an appreciation for it. I bet we all could take a page from your book and apply it to our own lives. Thank you for sharing your adventures. Enjoy the West! If you make it to L.A. I'd like to buy you a beer! 😊

Agreed. I like Brian Waters as a person but his videos are often hard to get through. Every single video he has some new $300 to $1500 gadget. He cannot keep a set up rig to save his life. Mike's camper shell was originally his. Then he went pop up tent. Then he just straight sold a brand new truck with all the bells and whistles. Then went with a gas burner F-250. I can't understand a 3/4 ton truck that's not diesel. He never travels more than about an hour away from his house so he never leaves Texas. Can't summer camp because he's in Texas and no longer has his A/C set up with the false tailgate. ALWAYS has to be at a site where he can plug into power even though the man has approximately 106 power stations, batteries, inverters, etc etc etc. Thinks he needs heat when he's camping with a low of 52 degrees. Acts as if he would die without it when he's camping in 38 degrees. I'm just sitting here thinking you camp with 150 thousand dollars worth of equipment when you factor in the truck.

Not sure if you traveled from Arizona to Moab via Monticello but you could have gone down into Canyonlands which is mind blowingly beautiful. First off- love the channel. Been watching while now and really enjoying this road trip. Since you had no internet, not sure how long ago this was recorded, but, if you are still in the area look up Onion Creek trail. Absolutely easy trail with 27 or so shallow creek crossings. You are at least halfway there from Moab in this video. Also, several dispersed sites there and close to the creek. It would make an amazing video and you’d love it! Can’t wait to see what’s next bro!
