We use a lot of Magnalite or other pots and pans that are similar to them. Magnalite can sometimes get expensive or hard to find. We use them a lot in the bayous cooking.

Anyone ever notice there is never any snow around the base of trees. It’s always a melted circle around it. Snow often melts faster around the base of trees, creating a "thaw circle," because the dark tree trunks absorb more solar radiation (heat) than the surrounding snow. This absorbed heat then radiates outwards, melting the snow in a ring around the tree. I thought that was pretty 🆒 idk 🤷🏻♂️

What's the point of building a fire when it's 35 real feel 24, that's too cold to enjoy sitting outside by a fire or even really trying to cook over the fire! Sorry but I'd stay in the bed of the truck with the heater & do my cooking in an Air Fryer or on a Induction cook top there since you have electric service in your camp spot. Sorry but I'm more interested in being comfortable, warm & cooking an hot meal in comfort than sitting outside freezing & cooking in snow flurries.
