I always keep my cold weather bag in the truck along with my 40-60 degree bag and a thick fleece blanket. Had a few times with no heat, last time I forgot the extension cord.....Stuff happens right!! For times when a fire doesn't work out I always keep about 3-4 cans of ravioli, spagetios, chili and beef stew to cook quickly inside. Cold weather tip: hot chocolate and Irish creme whiskey is hard to beat....

I bought the SMALL rice cooker (the plain one that just has "cook" and "warm" on it) and I cook EVERYTHING in it. I had no idea that a rice cooker cooked anything but rice but you can cook just about anything in it that you don't fry.

BedRug looks great! I added some low interior lights to be more stealth. Just added to the existing lights that came with the topper. That beer is pretty popular in Eastern Canada. Save those bottles for home brew. Nice to see you in the new truck😀

I don't know the legalities or anything about electric sites as someone who primarily primitive camps but if I paid for an electric site and the power was turned off I would've been pissed. Having main junction box right there and unlocked, I would've been flipping switches until it either turned on or fried itself. Merry Christmas Quady. I get to take my trailer friday in to get looked at. Last Tuesday I woke up to a flood. I moved truck but couldnt get to trailer. Me and Landlord rode the storm out. Deputys showed up and told us hang tight. When water went down Wedensday, Landlord brought a bottle of whiskey. We did some shots and ate some bbq chicken!

Yeah I’m on the quady bandwagon saw the fb story teaser, patently waiting for the upload. Debating on an old man tall topper for my 19 f150 STX with the shorter bed, thankfully I’ve tried laying in my bed with tailgate closed and I fit. Lol. I would have definitely flipped the breakers!! I live in Communist Jersey and the state parks close the campgrounds in late fall. Total BS. How long does the fuel usually last for the jet boil? Quady you gotta do a live camping video!!! Merry Christmas Mike. I gotta say, I kinda like the looks of the silver topper on the white truck. Don't know why, but I do. You should shape some reflectix window covers as well (though you're probably planning to do that anyway.). And I agree. You should get a small induction plate. It'll require a cast iron or steel pan, but it would do you good if you're hooked up to shore power.

When I was in the USAF back in the late 80`s a friend of mine brought back a case of Grolsch from Europe, this stuff was like 11 or 12% with a brown label, you cold see the Hopps floating around in the bottle, 2 of those and I was done for the night. Gooood stuff !! Same guy came back one time from Australia with a case of Fosters, it was not from the same weak batch they export, same scenario ... got tore up !
