Meteorites put a magnet to them if they stick they may be real. Take them to a geology department at you local university they will tell you for sure
@Nirrrina3 жыл бұрын
That would have been interesting to know quite awhile ago. We used to go fossil hunting a lot & found some rocks that we wondered if they were meteorites. Well until my teacher had me bring them in to the schools science teacher. Very nice guy. Told me about a local mall being built. He went by & got ammonites that would barely fit in the trunk of his car. Ammonites are a common crustacean fossil that we found lots of. Usually small and broken ones but still exciting to find.

Take your meteorites to the geology department of your nearest uni. Or if you have the regional geological survey board offices near you that's better. You can do the same with your ammonite fossils, paleontologist department. I came across a large raw ruby once, got it certified and everything. It seems nothing now but I was a kid back then so it was fun doing all that.

@CrazyRussianHacker To see if the meteorites are real you can put a magnet up to them and see if the magnet is drawn to it , meteorites have some metal in them and are a little magnetic. You can also check if they are radioactive because some types of meteorites have a little bit of radioactive isotopes inside that release radiation.
