@taeydream10 жыл бұрын
i really don't know what the criteria for a star on the hollywood walk of fame is. like, britney spears has one, and madonna doesn't. and christina aguilera has one, but whitney houston and mariah carey don't. i really don't even know what to say when the best selling female artists in history don't have hollywood stars, while two blonde copies of these legendary artists do.

Just saw it today for the first time, and when it started, it was like I was in the 8th grade again. TLC was ,is a Phenomenon. Very few groups can claim a rise to fame like they had. No group before or sense has has been as successful. And the three actress that played them did a pitch perfect job. I remember all of the drama as it happen but watching this was defiantly a trip down memory lane. As it was coming to the part where Lisa died, I did felt dread be cause I new we would have to relive it. That was a sad day for all that loved, and still love their music.

Shardyshaw, I don't think aaliyah is epic enough to do a movie personally. I mean I loved her music, sound and style and it was absolute horrible what happen to her at such a young age and plus she was so gorgeous but what milestones did she go through to make an awesome movie? I personally feel like she was just hitting the surface of her career before she past and didn't have a chance to show people what she was really made of. Personally if they were to do a movie, the only highlight would be her death because that is what really got everyone attention because it was so sad and huge shock in music industry.
@tam_tam99029 жыл бұрын
vdw8420031 honestly....i have to agree with you :\ and it shocks me because when i read the first sentence i'm like hold up aaliyah was fire, BUT reading on i realize that you're right in a way. i still would wholeheartedly watch it because like i said aaliyah was fire lol but i get what you're saying, she didn't get a chance to show the music industry and acting industry what she was made of because of what happened :(
@1deonlucas93 жыл бұрын
Nah I'm gonna have to disagree on that one y'all. Are y'all actually really familiar with Aaliyah and sher story.. the biggest controversy in music in the mid 90s were Aaliyah and R. KELLY.. That was a scandal for the books, the break away and emergence of a new sound, new image. Her style is iconic. Then her films. Great writers could have def come up with a great storyline and even filled in some of the pieces since she was private about things

Clearly most people do not get recognition when they're alive or still in groups besides in tv documentaries like Behind The Music. Look at the Tupac documentary, Biggie, This is it.....most people don't care as much about someone until they're dead and that's real. And Left Eye being dead doesnt have to do with the movie....its just telling their story.
@TheLadytee21311 жыл бұрын
Maddygurl12304996 I get all what your saying, thats why I feel like they shouldn't have done a movie, but I understand they were trying to promote their new album. If they did do a movie they should have done it on left-eye life, she was the most interesting out of all of them. Then they could have had left-eye sister Raina add her imput to the movie especially since she was their during the fire incident.
