I had one up here in northern Canada, it’s stock hood and nose cone was smashed in a roll but the tunnel sticker way was the same along with the seat stock tank was robbed for a xcr lol

@@AKproXR yah man, mine is slightly different from other xc's i have seen around ,in that i have the Ducati CDI/coil and non power values ,or i haven't seen enough of them yet lol but man she fast i can do 120 mph + or - just nuts. be safe riding .

97 was a limited build of 500 sleds what you see are 98s there's a few differences,seat ,head cover, trailering arm decals CDI location and a couple others.

I promise, you do NOT see 1997 xc’s everywhere. Limited build sleds. Do not confuse it with a 98.

It’s a 97 1/2. That’s what makes it rare. I had one from new. Snowchecked a 1997 700 RMK and said I wanted the XC when information was released. They got me one

First year of the xc 700. Limited build sled. Under 500 built in 1996 (sold as 1997) Very rare unlike the later 1998’s. This is only the second one of these Iv ever found in Alaska.

@@AKproXR 97's were a mid year limited release, that sled changed the focus from triples to twins, all they need is a little clutching work and they pull hard from bottom to top. One of the best Polaris sleds ever made, Good power Good looks, Very reliable.
