CRE-8900 ... Listening to the FCC band .

I borrowed my friend's CRT SS-6900n (v6) and hooked it up to a spectrum analyser. I was shocked by the spurs on it that only appeared on SSB, but not AM or FM. I'll try and borrow his CRE 8900 and see how that performs...
