Creality Ender 3 V3 KE first test print!

I remember back when Enders were just cheap and had no advanced features. Now there are so many models and nice sensors and stuff that they almost sound like half-decent machines.

Yeah same here. 5 years ago I started my 3D printing journey with an Ender 3. It was the most basic base model Ender 3 you could (and still can) get. Now here's a machine with tons of features, hardware/software advancements, and build quality improvements... So far it like Creality has stepped up with this printer. Well see if my opinion changes as my testing continues though. But yeah Creality needs to chill with the 50 Ender 3 sub models. Especially with such odd names that make it so hard to determine which is a new/more advanced model vs what's a side step.

I love mine! From my base model ender 3 to the v3ke. They’re both awesome machines. Only thing with the speed on the ke is there’s a lot of shaking and movement. So I printed a spool holder that sits on a desk instead of on top of it. But they both are awesome machines!!

I agree. I'm so far very impressed with it. I've only had two issues. #1, the bed adhesion is occasionally unreliable. I will be adding a PEI sticker to the smooth side of the build plate as a test to resolve that. #2, the vibrations like you mentioned. I ran a test last night and my results weren't all that bad. However, as a test I moved the spool off the printer to see if the test results improve at all.

Im about to buy my first 3D printer this weekend foe me and my son,is the KE user friendly for beginners?

I definitely think it is yes. It's been designed to require as little tinkering as possible. It's been extremely easy to use with so much if the process being automated. The only issue one encountered was that the build plate isn't as reliable as I'd like. 1 out of 5 prints were coming detached. But that's an easy fix. A $20 build plate and the issue is totally resolved. The upgraded build also adds more functionality than the stock plate as well.
