i had to sit and hold my table the whole print because it was shaking it to the point of looking like it was gonna break my table

Nice. Glad your k1c is working well. I love my k1 now after rooting it, leveling the bed, and adding a few mods. To me, it is still the best option to get a core xy printer at a low entry price. And since it is so popular there is a huge modding community and third-party part support. So as long as you don't mind putting a little time into making it better it is by far the best option for the price. I got mine on a huge sale. I would not pay full retail for it though. Thankfully Creality likes to have sales all the time. I assume the K1C will drop in price soon like the k1 did. Keep up the good work. 👍 And if you didn't root your K1C yet it is a must. The Guilloux helper tool and software package is amazing and has so many options now. It gets better every week.

do you have to unlock the filament top part because mine was doing the actions but not actually spiting anything out.

Dont the K1 come with a 13 minute benchy on the machine already?
@Crosslink3D10 ай бұрын
Yes there is a 16 minute benchy file on the K1C USB stick.

You can see exactly, how the K1C bends the universe when it accelerates the print head🙂C stands for Speed of Light

My K1C comes in next week. I'm pretty confident the K1C can get a benchy printed in under 10 minutes (if the cooling is good enough). 16 minutes isn't really that fast. My Ender 3 Pro can do a 12 minute benchy with only 10k acceleration.

Maybe we should push it harder then. Let's see...

@@Crosslink3D Printed one in 9:43. It wasn't perfect, but definitely not bad. The main limitation is the flow rate with the stock K1C hotend. I had to set the Creality Hyperspeed PLA to 270C and I still had some under extrusion. I was able to print an 11 minute benchy that is comparable to the 17 minute. This printer is great.

Awesome, I still need to push it more. Hope there will be some high flow nozzles available soon

@@Crosslink3D I contacted Triangle Lab a few weeks ago and they should have a high flow hotend available by June. Hopefully it lands in the $30 price range like their hotend for the K1 and lets you use mk8 nozzles. The K1 version can hit 50+ mm3/s from what I have read.

Your printer is so silent. Mine is loud! Not talking fan noise, movement sounds. Especially z axis. Did you do anything to tune it?

Probably lube
