Cream Horns with Vanilla Pastry Cream

These delicious cream horns are even better than store bought with my homemade puff pastry and vanilla pastry cream! Decadent, light and luxurious, it’s sure to be one of your favorite desserts!
Ingredients:
1 lb puff pastry dough, chilled
Eggwash: 1 egg whisked with 2 tbsp whipping cream or water.
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 cups full cream milk
2 tsp vanilla extract (or vanilla bean if available)
6 large egg yolks
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup corn starch
1/4 cup unsalted butter
Optional: icing sugar for dusting
Yields: 20-24 Cream Horns
