@aestheticmuscles23857 жыл бұрын
Awesome pre workout. The reason why cream of rice is being used is because since it's a starch carb it will go to the muscles and get stored as muscle glycogen and not to liver. I see too many people in the gym, snacking on fruits such as apples and bananas and expecting to get energy out of it for their workouts and the sugars their getting is only filling liver glycogen because sugars are not glucose and they must be converted in the liver and once sugars go to the liver it stays there. Weight training and any other intense activity only uses muscle glycogen and not liver glycogen. The liver glycogen is only used for low intense activities like organs functioning, blood flow, activity in our brain. Also the liver glycogen has a very low capacity for storing carbs as glycogen, it can hold about 100g of carbs, anything excess will cause spillover and lead to fat gains, since we have muscles everywhere we can store more than what our liver can and the more muscle you have, the more muscle glycogen you can turn carbs into instead of fat.

I found a good mixing method. U drag back of Spon from 11 o'clock position to between the centre and 3 o'clock position then use other hand to turn the bowel a 1/5 of a turn clockwise with the other hand, then repeat until like the mixture. Then mix randomly to double check no unmixed parts. Feel I have to share this as feeling bad as watch a lot of videos but minimal gains as not consistent. Having these ingredients in cupboard means one more tool in the arsenal. Thank you!!

I'm sure there's others like me who read old comments and find useful information. I tried various amounts of fat to slow and speed digestion. Landed on 68g cream of rice, 26g almond butter and 30g of sugar free Hershey syrup. 1 1/4 cup water... 3:33 seconds in the microwave then add salt. My own personal twist is I add 4 fig newtons to the mix. Just another slow burn non starch carbo...with added cookie for faster insulin dump to get things started.
