Excessive protien is a myth perpetuated by supplement companies. The benefit if suoer high protien js the thermic effect it has via glucogenesis (body has to burn calories turning all the extra protien into carbs)

Love how he uses the whole egg and not just the whites! Loaded with vitamins minerals and HDL Cholesterol. I also noticed a lot of the stuff John used for breakfast or just had in the kitchen were also the items purchased on a previous video when shopping at Kroger’s. Very cool he practices what he preaches. Oh and I actually tried some of the canned wild sockeye salmon, and it was really good! Great advice all around.

At that age bodybuilders generally end up with organ issues muscle tears and joint problems but John has been able to stay healthy and take care of his joints whilst maintaining a huge amount of muscle mass. The egg yolk color depends on what the chicken was fed and it's not an indicator of good quality egg, I've had local farmer's eggs who were bright yellow and had store eggs with dark orange yolks.

As a old guy I favor oatmill over creme of rice for the fiber.Also I eat it by itself later not for breakfast and add protein powder or p but butter powder and milk for added protein.At 60 staying regular is a goal I'm itself
