Ginger and Eric's fills during the quieter parts and of course Jack's ability to sing while playing complicated chords and notes always made Cream sound like a 4 or 5 piece group when I first heard them.

Jack Bruce was a very underrated bass player from his era. Even today there are not many real bass players that play this genre of music could play at Jack Bruce's bass skill. His bass playing really complimented Eric Clapton's shredding power 🎸

J.B attended a Scottish music school and was trained in the art of the classical performance ... initially he conformed to this and yet he also added and the key word to the chef here that's cooking this original meal is that he added other aspects of musical study to what he already knew.. and he rejected classical music teaching generally speaking for much the same reason that Miles Davis left juilliard in New York New York

Alfred- YES! It is incredibly annoying how these camera jerkoffs have no clue what the Hell they are doing. Eric is doing some awesome solo, but no, let's zoom in on Jack's bass guitar and hold the camera there for 30 seconds. Then cut to Ginger. Hold for another 14 seconds. Then continue to ignore Eric and cut back to Jack playing the same chords over and over.

In about 1980 or 1981 i drove down to Florida to see what spring break was all about. I met a young woman on the pier of fort myers beach. This songs lyrics perfectly mirrored what transpired between us. Those days can never be duplicated.
