shift + right click and drag over the node lines. i think it’s referred to as rerouting.

It fills out the gaps between the mesh and the mirrored copy when you increase it

Hey! Really nice tutorial, but I am stuck on 5:15 where you press shift+control and you get the surface smooth. How did you get that? Thanks a lot!

Ctrl+shift and right click on a node and it will show the output of that specific node on your object. in this instance it was showing the output of the color ramp used to make the smudge marks then when i press ctrl+shift and right click on the principled node it shows the full material set up. Hope this helps and sorry for the late reply

click the render tab then choose render animation or (hotkey: ctrl f12). i would recommend watching a more in-depth video about exporting images and animations from blender tho because it’s hard to explain how to set up render settings before rendering in just a comment.
