Wow I am blown away! I have been so stressed trying to figure this out. I bought the program today and all I can say is THANK YOU!! You are a life saver, please support. This made everything make sense 😊

The only column I've added is the unit measurement, for instance grams or tsp or tbsp. Also I prefer the total cost at the top of the spreadsheet, then I can flick to that tab and immediately see the cost. Otherwise a great simple spreadsheet

Hi i saw the video is great the whole step by step is very helpful. But I have questions for the section size can I measure it as pounds or oz or does have to be all in grams? And how can I use google conversions so it does the math for me? Thank you.

HI! I loved your video, but could you please explain to me how to convert liquids such as oil? It's complicated when it comes to gallons/quarts 5qts dealing with this huge container (liquids in cups) to 1/2 cup.

Hi I created this sheet, I have two questions 1. How do you make an entry if there's no info of size and how much people it serves. 2. How to do the formula for scalping the recipe. Thanks

What is the formal you are using to figure in the scaling price?

how does the "scale this recipe" change? that you have on the side of the recipe costs and do we have to change ml to grams?

Hello, It was a very informative video! I'm just a little confused on how I would convert cups into grams or why I would need to convert grams into ounces when usually my recipes call for grams or cups? If you can please make a video focusing more on that aspect, that would be great! Thank you!!
@BakeThisHappen2 жыл бұрын
Hi Marissa, no problem. You don’t need to convert to grams if you don’t use that measurement. The important thing is that the unit you are using for the raw ingredients matches the unit from your recipe. For example, if your bag of flour comes in a 1kg bag, and you type 1 into the spreadsheet, you need to make sure when adding the measurement from your recipe it is also in kilograms. Otherwise the calculation will be off. So if the recipe wanted you to use 500g of flour, you would need to convert that to kg first and enter 0.5. Because nothing is sold in cup quantities, you will usually need to convert the amounts in your recipe to kilograms/grams or pounds/ounces. Hope that helps but I should do a full video!

Hi There! Thank you so much this has been so easy to follow and helpful - i work with Grams and i buy for example a 1.5kg bag of flour and only use lets say 270g for one of my recipes. how do i add this to the sheet? Thank you x
@BakeThisHappen2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Yasmin, glad it was helpful! When you are entering the 1.5kg bag of flour, add this as 1500g. That way you'll get the correct price when you enter your 270g for the recipe :)

Do the conversions for sugars as it may not be the same as flours.

Thanks so much for sharing. Love love your layout. Just one question do you take into account any yields for ingredients used?
@BakeThisHappen2 жыл бұрын
Hey, sorry for missing this question! Can you explain exactly what you mean and I'll be happy to help :)
@kedanpie44092 жыл бұрын
@@BakeThisHappenthe yield is accounting for any wastage you might incur in using your ingredient.
@BakeThisHappen2 жыл бұрын
I don’t take into account any waste within this spreadsheet. This would probably be best added into your overheads when actually pricing your item for sale. This spreadsheet shows you how much a receipt would cost to make, based on the cost of the ingredients/materials. Thanks for watching!
