Hello! I hope you had a fun filled day! I spent my day sewing with talented ladies on line. Now, I'm going to sit with my hand quilting and watch your video. I hope you have a marvelous week ahead. Thank you for posting this video and for your time.

Hi Jess. Your website shows that they are all sold out. Is there any chance you will make more? I'm very interested in purchasing one. Thanks. Love your vids by the way. You're my absolute favorite person to learn from. Thanks for sharing your talents with us all!

@monica partially, I made my own template. I used a current wallet and started with paper, then cut it out using a placemat from the $$ store to cut out my pattern.

@@wendy833 Oh Hey! That's an awesome idea. I remember she mentioned making our own templates using those plastic cutting boards and I purchased a bunch at the dollar store. Thanks for reminding me! I'll make one and save myself the $$$. Thanks again!!!

I use freezer paper for my pattern pieces. You can iron it on material so it doesn’t move like paper does. You can get freeze paper that can put though your printer, so it makes cut pattern pieces easy. Also you can reuse the freezer paper several time.

Thank you, yet another great tutorial! Do you by chance have plans or pattern ideas for a clear stadium crossbody purse. I’ve seen pouches and clutches but looking for something a little bigger for a phone and a wallet. Any suggestions? :)

Love these! I'm still trying to figure out how to pull the threads back. 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
@nancycasso78932 жыл бұрын
Thank you!! I find my vinyl doesn’t stick so much as I get the thread loops or skips sewing over the tape. I use the 1/8” and try to center it so I can avoid sewing over it. Going to try the SVG file.

With the SVG for charity. I have been looking for SVG of zipper overlay. I can never cut them out straight with paper or acrylic templates. I have looked on Etsy and everywhere trying to find someone that has some for the cutting machines and cannot find them anywhere.
@anniekorn5772 жыл бұрын
@@HeyItsPrima thanks I am looking for an svg. Actually have that pattern. And I have a couple of other ones with them in it it doesn't matter how hard I try they are always looking very wonky when I cut them out by hand LOL!
@teresaunderwood3852 жыл бұрын
Do you find you have any issues with your machine/needle sewing over/through the double sided tape?
@OklaRoots2 жыл бұрын
It depends on the tape. Any sort of "wash away" double sided tape gives me zero trouble.

I don't see what the measurements are for the clear vinyl part. Can you make a template for this part too? I have a hard time cutting clear vinyl, because I can't see the clear edge under the ruler.
@chickiez112 жыл бұрын
If you go to the SVG she tells you what those measurements are. I just got the SCV for charity so I can make one until I get the template hopefully in her next run!!

The other thing you can do is put your vinyl on a sheet of paper, either white or pastel, even an old envelope (Manila type) or an old file folder if you have any you no longer need. You are doing two things, making it easier to see your vinyl and reusing something that could have easily ended in the garbage dump. Hopefully that will help. Hugs

I absolutely love your videos but could you please stop showing how you pull the threads to the back, tie them off & burn them in EVERY SINGLE VIDEO?
@annajackson992 жыл бұрын
If you quickly double tap the right side of the video, you can fast forward 10 seconds at a time and move through the parts that might not be relevant to you. Often time, KZbinrs show what experienced makers would consider simple concepts for people that may be new to bag making and not understand how to accomplish what’s being described without it being shown in the video.

When you start a sentence with "I love your videos but...", you should probably just hit the backspace key and move on with your day. Jessica's videos are free and fabulous and she does not assume that everyone has seen all of her other videos. This could be someone's first viewing of one of her tutorials. Sheeeesh!
