Richard, here is what I use for color conversion from hex to decimal (long) Case "FormBackColor" Section(acDetail).BackColor = CLng("&H" & NameValue(1)) Case "FontColor" Prompt.ForeColor = CLng("&H" & NameValue(1)) The NameValue(1) must be a six character hex value with no leading "#"

Like the series.... but how hard would it be to set a background color to the Prompt Text box as well. I can see part of it... but I'm still suffering brain farts and no amount Startleet Lysol or Febreze is going to help at this time...

Not hard at all just add another parameter and set the Prompt.BackColor.
