This is a true 'beginner level' course and I love that! Thanks so much for explaining it so that literally anyone can understand & follow. Some other 'beginner' courses just make my brain hurt.

I'm glad you enjoyed. Sometimes I get complaints that the Beginner Level 1 videos go TOO slow. My only reply to those folks is... it's for BEGINNERS. Level. One. :)

Very Detailed series. Have not finished, but it's awesome. In my business I use intuit for invoicing and reports. What would be the advantage of Access when it comes to interfacing with my accountant at the end of the year? Such as, getting him reports or info he may need? By the way, small business, just getting started.

You could simply export the data he requires right from your database. You can export it as a text file, Excel file, whatever he needs. Access support most popular generic formats.

Can the database be shared across different computers?
@MBS195
@MBS195 11 жыл бұрын
So, basically, what you are explaining and from the way I'm looking at; is that MS Office Ribbons are just databases with in the program right? Because if you look at it from that point of view, for instance the "HOME" tab: FILE, HOME would be the PK or FK, CREATE, EXTERNAL DATA, DATABASE TOOLS (Would be either a PK or FK in the MS Access Table), VIEWS, CLIPBOARD, SORT& FILTER, RECORDS, FIND, ETC...

Hi I really enjoy your access lesson, hope I will be able to set up my inventory soon. I knew access very little. my question is I was wondering whether I can upload my picture sheet which I have 1 column is the product code, 2nd column is the picture and I have 1000 pictures in this excel sheet. when I put my order in, for example I like to order 100 products with product code, when I put the order code in, it will come out with the picture automatically without name each row name when I using the vlookup in excel, it seems very difficult to name each row, but using Microsoft access to import my excel sheet in the access and do a query to put this 100 product codes with pictures together, and also another information from supply sheet such as price, qtys. by using the primary key-product codes. do you think the access will help me to do that? hope you can reply me soon for this question and which lesson is specially for this questions?

How many years does it take to become an Access expert ? If you don't know the answer to an Access issue is it okay to look it up on the Internet and KZbin ? Sometimes I forget because I'm kind of old.
@599CD
@599CD 9 жыл бұрын
+Rudy Rodriguez There's no set number of years. I've been working with Access for about 20 years myself. I've taught people who got REAL good, real fast - in a year or two. It all depends on how much effort and study you put into it. Of course, if you don't know the answer to ANY question it's OK to look it up. Personally, I try not to memorize things that I can easily Google. No reason to clutter your brain with needless data.
