Hello, Could I please request for a video on staging/cloning using subdomain in Plesk on Vultr or Digital Ocean hosted wordpress site. Like Enabling auto updates on cloned site and pushing them when we are confident. Is it possible? Pretty please. I noticed the use of putty consistently. I used to use it as well(it has a lot capability). Since win 10 has ssh built into cmd prompt now I have started using that instead of installing putty. Can generate keys and ssh into my Oracle VPSs without adding putty.

I can`t connect to server anymore. I tried to restart the server from SSH, but not working. I think i need to reinstall to test if it`s Oracle who keeps failing or it`s just the server config issues. I also tried to add the iptables again but mot working. The server starts to load and it froze at Obtain game data (gathering game data), not sure how sounds in english, because the lang is in my native language.

Great vid once again! You should make a minecraft server one aswell. Itzg's minecraft servers for docker work really well, you could do a modded server aswell which is a bit more complicated, the documentation isn't really good and there is a lot of trial and error with it. I managed to figure it out on my own so i can help you out with the vid if needed.

Hi, awesome tutorial, love my server, question, do i need to stop my server when i am not playing, or can i leave it running? will i be charged by oracle if i keep it running, (so I can share it with my friends when they want to play)

I want to have access to the directory because I wanna drag files in it, how can I do? I tried installing WinSCP and connecting to the server but he refuses me to edit, copy etc any file. (It refuses to access as csgoserv but works with "ubuntu")

most likely not very good since valve doesn't support ARM you can't use the clearly superior Ampere with 4 OCPUs and 24 GB of RAM and emulating x86 is a fucking pain to setup its not really an option either wish valve would just support ARM as it is a massive market share

Tried it yesterday and today. Started a Ubuntu 22.04 LTS CS:GO server for 10 players with the ESL 5on5 config. I was planning to install Metamod and Sourcemod, but I gave up eventually because testing the server with me and 9 friends proved to be rather unplayable. You can still play, but sv latencies spike very often and the game becomes jiterry, especially on round openings when all 10 players are alive. Hope it helps you.

I tried to follow the guild for A VM on my local server. But I got an error after putting in the install command. It stopped installing saying it could not connect to steam.

I have set a password wtih sv_password later and its not working from game console. connect and it's not asking for the password. NB - Restarted the server still no luck.

i got to the putty installation and got the error "'lib32gcc1' has no installation pathway I Had to use sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386; sudo apt update; sudo apt install curl wget file tar bzip2 gzip unzip bsdmainutils python3 util-linux ca-certificates binutils bc jq tmux netcat lib32gcc-s1 lib32stdc++6 libsdl2-2.0-0:i386 steamcmd to fix it

Minecraft server can actually run on ARM64 so we will Have up to 24gb ram on free tier for mine craft - but most other games need x86/x64
