In this video I demonstrate how to perform break even analysis in Excel.
1) How to write a break even formula
2) How to create a dynamic break even point table
3) How to create a dynamic break even analysis chart
The video has two tutorials:
1) For Excel 365 users using dynamic spilled arrays and the SEQUENCE function to generate the break even point table. You will also learn how to define a series' data source using spilled arrays.
2) For versions of Excel, prior to Excel 365.
Both tutorials use a scatter graph as this allows you to easily incorporate the break point values into the graph.

Hi Chester. Cool solutions! Thanks for sharing them. Also, for dynamic fixed cost formula, you could use SEQUENCE to spill as follows: =SEQUENCE(C5,,C9,0). Basically, rows = no. of increments, [start] = total fixed cost and [step] = 0. This will spill 10,000 down 10 rows and react to changes in the no. of increments input. Your videos are great! Keep them coming. Thumbs up!!
