Create a Graphghan from an Image using the Grid Designer

Oh wow ive just started to do graphgan and now binge watching you tutorials and thank you it looks really good. I have a picture i want to put on cushion which has lots of shading and colours and been trying to work out the best way so im going to have a play ❤thank you again your photo cushions are truly amazing 😊

Can a written pattern with instructions be done with this grid program? This is exactly what I’ve been looking for with your gray scale & sepia photo program!!❤

Yes, there are written instructions for crochet. When you are happy with your project go to Project > Download. Select PDF. Then, select the type of instructions you want. They will be written in the PDF along with the graph and the color key.

is there an option for corner to corner crochet in Grid designer and not just row by row. I am new to graphgans and like the corner to corner better instead of row by row

Yes there is. When you start a new project in Project > New Project, you can select a C2C project type. You can also change an existing project to C2C by going to Display > Cell Size/Type. If you then put your gauge information in, in either place, Grid Designer can calculate the size of your project. You can see the size of your project either from Project > Project Info or Display > Grid Size. You can also change the numbering when you print your project to C2C and it will number from the corner you select, around the entire grid.

I should have also mentioned, you can select C2C when digitizing also. When you are setting up the Grid Size, define units will open a dialog where you can select C2C as your type and type in your gauge.
