You can either design the whole letterhead whilst your inside the HEADER & FOOTER or you can simply copy and paste it all to the next page. The HEADERS & FOOTERS are more reliable for multiple pages :)

Hi Lisa, I am new to Templates and after viewing several online KZbin tutorials see many that build via the Developer Tab, then once built click on the icon for "Protect Document" prior to saving as a template. Is that step something that should be done with your Tutorial to prevent certain parts from being changed when launched or is that a diferent method for making templates ?? Fred

Question Linda, I'm on windows 10 and On my file I don't have a drop down to save to template, I even tried right click. I know U R on Mac and is that the difference , meaning does widows users have this option?

Go to 'Save as' then in file type click on the drop down and it should be there as 'save a template'.

@@LisaDoe Thanks Lisa, that was what I tried. When I click the save tab the there is no drop down.What happens is a small window opens in screens middle telling me that my document is being saved to one-drive .

... i watched many videos about the same template creation...my problem is after i use the template and needs a second page, the design vanishes every time i insert a page number...how should things be done?...please help

When you start the design double click at the top or bottom of your page so you are within the HEADERS & FOOTERS. Insert your design in the same way and it will repeat it on each page. Alternatively you can 'SELECT ALL' (CMD/CTRL + A) then copy and paste onto the next page.

It just allows the flexibility to move it around if you need to but sure, you could just put it at the bottom of the main text.
