Amazing results from EEVEE, I had no idea it has been improved so much in the latest update. Thanks for covering the fur rug creation too, I found that very useful as I typically don't do much work with hair emitters or the fur curves. My current project needs realistic faux-fur lined cushions, so I think this "fur painting" technique will be very useful.

Oh yeah I was super surprised too! Eevee looked incredible! And the animation render time blew my mind. The fur is also super underrated and over looked! I really should do a dedicated video for that

Thank you very much! :) I do feel like cycles is now on the edge of being corona'like and with add-ons like Render Raw helping tweak in real time in the viewport all the parameters I would in the Photoshop camera raw filter, I feel like Blender is quickly going to take the lead

@@imeshh wow that's a solid statement of intent Kris! as you know, Corona's strengths lie in it's ease - by far the simplest, most straightforward renderer there is - and the immediately excellent results without really trying. i think if you try hardops Boxcutter then it would take much less time and your work will be non-destructive (as i see you made wooden panels at 4:30, where you just repeated using Shift+R but imagine you have to change their size and spacing then you have to do it again, but hops make it as quick as you are and with array modifier.
@imeshh
@imeshh 3 ай бұрын
@@rajendrameena150 I could have used array modifier for sure but I already knew the rough size I wanted and simply doing duplicate then Shift R was quicker than going to the array modifier and choosing the right settings. Definitely would have been more easy to modify though

Looks pretty good, but you are still missing a key thing that most people seem to forget : Ambient Occlusion for better depth and contact shadowing. Adding some subtle AO into big and important meshes like the floor, Sofas and hero pieces, and also props that seem to have a bit of an issue with proper grounding, a scene will get so much more depth and realism through this. I know that AO is generally not needed in true raytraced scenes, but this is still not truly raytraced but more of a hybrid between real raytracing and game engine tricks, so adding AO will still give you something extra.

Damnnn it came out soo realistic. Do you think EEVEE is better than cycles now for Archviz? And also please tell which softwares are you using for recordings.
@imeshh
@imeshh 3 ай бұрын
Nah I think cycles will always be the king of photorealism. However, for an animation for maybe a close up or product shot in an Archviz scene this could absolutely be an Eevee job now. It's render time will be an hour vs potential days with cycles, just a bit less realistic

I thought about whether to use D5 when it comes to animation, but EVEE next is apparently sufficient, in addition, you work within one software. Is it highly problematic and time-consuming to adapt a static scene from cycles for animation in evee?

HELLO ! spectacular !!! bravo !!!. awesome overall good vibes ! And the overall artistry and technicallity is so MESMEREZING ! I was wondering ... something is bugging me in the animated render, some flickering on what seems to be the " bounces of lights " between some objects, like for instance at : kzbin.info/www/bejne/eHyTpKN6lrCBpK8 or should i say TC: 0:32 between the square cushions... aroudn 0:35, some mysterious disparitions of "reflections " on the marble coffee table ?... and around 0:40, the beautifull final shot, something strange is happening at the connection of the "seat/cushions" on the rug, could it be some issue with the definition of the shadow map kind of things ?... .

Which gpu is best for archviz 3060 or 4060?
@imeshh
@imeshh 3 ай бұрын
Newer will generally always be better however if it is the 3060 with 12gb of VRAM vs 4060 with 8gb VRam then I'd always go for the 12gb version. Rendering on gpu is almost always limited by how much stuff can actually fit into it. 12gb gives you some more breathing room. If this 12gb 3060 and 12gb 4060 then go for the newer faster version :)
