Ah, finally finished watching this video, I learnt many new things, and I had to watch 3-4 other videos that you mentioned in order to get the work done. The outcome was very nice and beautiful. I followed each and every step with you. I never even imagined that one day I'll make kind of professional movie poster. 🥳Thank you very much for your efforts, it was definitely worth it!!! I am currently following "21 GIMP GRAPHIC DESIGN TUTORIALS TO MASTER FOR 2021" from your website. Btw there was no option to watch video in FULL SCREEN mode on the website, so I had to copy the link and then paste in new tab to watch in full screen. Again thank you 😊😊

Hello, could you put a tutorial on how to slice a photo of a person or object and how to create the dripping effect in a photo. I love your videos I learn a lot.

How would I produce a 24"x36" (61x91cm) poster in gimp for a pdf file?

I need some help. I just started using GIMP. I'm creating images for a pitch deck. I have about 11 layers going on, as I'm creating a mock film poster. I started to notice, yellow-ish lines, appearing in the project. They are clearly from where I have taken a photo, dropped it into Gimp (a layer) and created a path around an object (like an actress), shrunk them down to place them in the image to create the look I am after. It looks as though the initial outline (prior to shrinking the image) still remains, in faded form in the project. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? CAN ANYONE HELP ME FIGURE OUT HOW TO REMOVE THEM? As they are clearly ruining the overall image I am building. Thank you! Simon

Are there other examples of pro posters that truly look like real AAA posters?I never picked up Gimp because i always saw low level amateuris samples made in it so i thought Gimp just can't create truly pro looking posters or pro retouching of photos.

Anyone else annoyed by that little bit of white background just above the lead girls head where the background wasn’t fully cropped?
