@@Deadfurr I feel the same, I was excited to follow this tutorial to find out right when starting that the resources are paid. And it's 30 $, that's very expensive. It feels specially more deceptive when you think that the video he did when he first showed this game was explicitly made only with free assets, and he promised to do a tutorial if it got enough likes, which is this one. So you would clearly expect it to be free. And if not at least it could be clearly said at the beginning of the video. I'll just use the free Animation Starter Pack from the UE Marketplace. I understand he has to make money somehow, but after waiting for this long and realizing the tutorial is paid, not even because he says it, but because the only link is to a patreon feels quite nasty tbh. Edit: actually, I've continued the course and although I haven't made it far yet, it seems like for now there's not much problem following the tutorial while you have your own animations and icons.

@@muhammadumair6306 There are TONS of assets on the UE Marketplace (soon to be FAB Marketplace in October) that are free forever, or free-for-the-month, that you can use for this. Hell the old Paragon assets are still available and can be used for this. It even comes with minions to use as enemies.

You should do an rpg that has a character creator/select screen, and the player has attributes, like strength and speed, and skills that can get better as you use them, like a skill that unlocks animations for the motion matching sampler as you get better (athleticism?)

Hey! I am almost at the end of the course, thank you so much for uploading this content, it's great! There is a problem with Cargo though, every time I reopen it it tells me to connect my 3d software, which I did. I am also able to download the plugin and connect it in UE, but once I connect nothing happens. I am also not able to close out of the window in Cargo after connecting my software. There is supposed to be a solution where you can delete a certain file from you app data where Cargo is installed but this also doesn't help. I wonder if anyone else is having this problem. Since I wanted to keep following the tutorial I just downloaded some other free assets from Fab to decorate my scene with. After going through all of your free courses I plan to purchase the survival game course!

I do not know how to solve one problem :(In your video at 2:36:37, the camera starts moving and it doesn't look very nice, I have an enemy even bigger than yours in the video (1.5x), so my situation is even more deplorable. When the enemy catches up with me, my camera becomes as if from the first person, which is VERY annoying. Maybe there is some kind of setting for the camera that eliminates this effect. P.S. I would be very glad if anyone could come up with solutions to this problem, changing the Acceptance Radius is a bad solution, I will say right away:(

If an actor has physics materials with limb damage like in your zombie tutorial, will the explosive barrel damage still be able to damage them?

the apply damage node differs from the apply point damage node like what we use for the zombie game. If you want to check to see if you hit a specific limb part, you’ll have to do some sort of line trace

I’m encountering issues with skeleton spawning in my game and need help with two problems: When I create a new level, add a skeleton spawn point, and place the fortress blueprint, the skeletons do not spawn at the start of the game. What could be causing this issue? When I copy a level where everything works fine, the skeletons function correctly during testing. However, when I launch the game from the main menu, the skeletons spawn but remain stationary. The fortress is present on the level. What could be the cause of this problem? Thank you.

You need to setup the Game Mode settings the same way in the new level as you have in the original. In World Settings.
