Is there a way to start the page numbers at page 1 - 3 slides down? I don't want page numbers to start until after the copyright page, and I want the pages to start showing number 1. No matter what I try the first two pages have no page numbers, but then the number 3 shows up on slide 3-I want it to show as number 1. Thanks!

Great question Jennifer and unfortunately (to my knowledge) no. PowerPoint will count slides across multiple slide master, hidden slides and even slides where no page number field exists. If it's mission critical that your pages are numbered but not on the copyright pages, you can either put the copyright slides at the end of your presentation to hide the slide numbers there (you can even loop your presentation from the back to end if you need to) or have someone manually hard code the page numbers to move away from PowerPoint's default numbering system. Hope that helps.

Yes, you can write some VBA code if you know how to do it. You'll just need to then either run the code each time you add a new slide to the deck or set the code to trigger every time you open / close the deck (or add a new slide if possible).

Yes... hopefully they update the PowerPoint page number system soon to match Microsoft Word (fingers crossed).
