This is wonderful. It was so easy to do in Procreate, but for me, even more than that, is that it really helped me with my actual watercolor painting of roses which I have been struggling with for (many, many) months. Thank you so much for this and all of the wonderful videos you make!!!

Can you make a updated video of making these flowers without the oriental brush? I can’t find that brush on procreate. Or can you suggest an optional brush for blending?

Just beautiful! Thank you for sharing. It is much easier to see the formation of the petals here as opposed to when you draw as the layers are very visible and easy for beginners.

Hey even I couldn’t find the oriental brush on procreate 5. What’s the alternative to it that can give a similar effect?

I've always struggled to draw roses and this tutorial was super simple, can't wait to try it.

Wow this is great!! I’m always trying to learn new techniques on my iPad and I love to paint florals but I never knew how to paint a ride like this in my procreate. So thank you so much for this video and I will definitely test it out.

❤️OMG Clarice! What a wonderful Monday morning treat to see this - thank you! Just a tip for those using Procreate 5 and not finding the Oriental Brush. Apparently this was removed Brushes removed in update 5.0: - “Sumi-e Brush . You may have previously seen the Sumi-e Brush referenced as the Oriental Brush. Due to the colonial roots of the word ‘Oriental’ and the connotations this entails we have renamed this brush and can be found in 4.3.1 update.”

This is great, thanks so much! Here’s a short cut for Procreate: use two-finger tap on the screen to erase and three-finger tap to recover. Hope it’s helpful!

Thanks Annie 🥰. My nails get in the way of the tap technique and so I naturally gravitate to the icons. Also it's a repeated focus for beginners who are just learning the ins and outs of Procreate. 🌺🌼

I'm just learning Procreate and this video has given me so great information, especially on the blending. I'm looking forward to additional videos using Procreate. I just learned that to get a watercolor paper effect you can use the pastel brush and then place that layer over the top of the other layers. I hope that you do more on Procreate, of course, in addition to your regular watercolor tutorials. No pressure, right? :)

Don’t have that brush. Alternative?

I've used 3 different brushes. Which one are you referring to?

It was the fresco but I found it under painting. Thanks Clarice
