Very clever! Glad I found your video. Suggestion: wear rubber gloves (unless you're allergic to latex) and then you won't paint your fingers in the process. ;)

Great idea & what kind of spray finish do you use as very sensitive to any sprays w resin, never epoxy but maybe a Kyrlon?

You can use a brush on product. DecoArt has one called DuraClear that I like a lot! The video going up tomorrow is actually all about using it!

If on rocks & we know going to be putting some outside to decorate (like for garden w flowers also) then doesn’t get yellow with sunlight exposure over time? Most don’t usually do rocks all white but what a neat product if does not turn yellow & you paint it on in thin layers & let each dry first if want even more glossy look? Tyvm as very hard to find (well many mediums we use) do have warning’s on them but after doing the opposite learned to believe them & just because no strong smell (can still hurt you so feel like any fumes) shouldn’t say on front ok to use inside but when look on back have “safety codes” & then tell you not great to use in just your paint room! So now read the back but have no idea what these codes mean; however if one side says sorta ok & other says ummmm be careful then know now as feels a bit deceiving when saying (New product available for high sheen & low to no odor)! Tyvm..

The amount of water really depends on the paint and sometimes the color. You want a warm honey consistency. I can't use quite as much water with the white as the black. I like DecoArt brand paints for this :)

Would a silicone pad be ok as long as get your paint back in bottle & can have black skins left on pad & how many ounces are in the small bottle you use? Tyvm.

It’s really just a preference for design. I leave a lot of my rocks bare too.

That’s too much dilution for acrylic paint. Just get a Walmart primer and it’s done in a few seconds.
