For some reason, when i came to the step CC Scale Wipe, there is nothing happen... it doesn't matter what stretch number I adjust to it just not doing anything. But, when the direction started from 48 to 125 degree, it works. it's just not working when it is 180 degree.... Please help!!!

You could simplify things by removing some effects and achieving the same result. You don't need to add an Invert to the dust layer, because the Fractal Noise effect has a check for inverting its black and white colors. Same for the Hue And Saturation in the CC layer: the BG could be shape layer with a radial gradient and you could adjust the color of the background and text with the color pickers in the gradient edit and Fill effect. I just wanted to add my two cents. Your channel is really going great by the way! Keep going! 😎

Thanks man! I REALLY appreciate the feedback and critique! You're completely right about being able to optimize effects, and I could probably do with doing another round of refinement to the process for the sake of making a more concise tutorial, will definitely bear it in mind for upcoming stuff! One thing with the fractal noise though, once the contrast and brightness are set to the values to get that dust kind of texture the invert setting doesn't do what we'd expect it to do (at least for me anyway!) hence why I chucked the invert effect on top. Although after testing it again I found cranking the brightness really high would get the desired result!

@@MographMill yeah sometimes the Fractal Noise is a bitch, I forgot about what you say, damn. Anyway I didn't want to sound fussy. It's that from a practical perspective I try to use less effect to achieve the same result to save render time for clients projects. I pointed out these things because the projects you show in your tutorial are already really good, creative and offer really new cool techniques to use! :D

Ok, so i kinda did it. Looks great. So, what if i wanna use it as a logo with an alpha background. What should i do? i mean, when i disable the purple bgs, there's still a green one from the fill effect. Can you give me any tips on how to lose the background?

I'd export this text with black backround, reimport it to to a fresh compositon with the you're footage putting it ontop of, luma key out the black and go from there. Botchy workaround but worth it you don't wanna do the brain work hahah
