Pretty good tutorial. One big thing you should start consideris working in 16 or even 32 bpc. 8bits are very limiting.

Great tutorial! For anyone who has issues where the plane isn't showing, in camera. It's because the camera is actually placed below the plane. I found it easiest just to go back to the scene set up and lower the plane a lot. This will then include it inside the camera view.

What version of Element 3D are you using? After adding the 'bumps map' and 'defuse' to the 'custom texture maps', it won't show in the preset section inside the element 'plane model/ default'

Version 2.2 of Element 3D. Well, If you create a plane in E3D it should automatically be a default material. If not, give the plane a a default material, then add the textures that you added as texture maps. What material does you plane have? Can you apply the added texture maps to it?

You could try another blending mode on raindroplayer, so that the raindrops doesnt show on the parts outside the water poodles

Select a light. Double click and there you can change intensity and so on. A easier way is to click the arrow before the lights name and there under light options you access the same settings

What version of AE is this? I keep getting to the part where you add the camera layer but then the ground work I did in Element won't show up, only the neon text floating above.

I don't think it has to do with version of AE. Someone had the same problem and solved it by updating E3D to 2.2.2. Are you running that version? If not, try to update

youre not even explaining how to move the cam and your cracks image is not working. plus your effects seetings are too small cant see what youre changing

Thx for the feedback. I chose not to explain the camera movement because I thought it was a basic thing. I will include that in future tutorials thou.
