You're so clever and make it all look so easy. I do love the idea of having a stamp that's already laid out so you can keep it as simple or complicated as you like ( or able to!). Great card.

Thanks for mentioning that the stamp can be used for other seasons, not just winter. It's a little difficult to tell how some would look if you tried to make it summer instead. Gorgeous images!

This is gorgeous and I love it. You mentioned using it for another season. How about creating a beach scene for us! I think the fence looks like fences used to protect dune lines.

@jillianavery828 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and for your kind words. Yes, I did cut down the birds from that transparent set. But they can always be positioned back together on an acrylic block should I want to stamp them in their original position in the future. :)

Hi Jill what kind of blending tool are you using. Great card!!!

Thanks for watching and your kind words. The ink blending tool is from Papericious: www.papericious.com/SHOP/Blending%20Tools Happy stamping! -Jill

Beautiful card & I love these stamps but am struggling with "Sentinel". Since some of the stamp is the positive while rest is negative, it's giving me grief. I've tried black, blue & white e.p. but not thrilled with that result. When I add colour, especially to the background, it's difficult to get even colour. There are a couple examples on Pinterest, but no videos on how the colours were achieved. Can anyone from Penny Black or the stamping community let me know how you would colour it? thanks

I love watching your videos! It's great getting ideas on how to use these stamps, as I never know where to begin! Quick question - which foam blending tools do you use? My Ranger tools are often a bit too heavy duty and it's not always possible to get such a light look.
@PennyBlackInc7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. :) I use a variety of ink blending tools and, for me personally, I find it is the pressure applied and amount of layers of ink that makes the difference in getting a light look, not the tool. In this video I am using some light weight ones from a company called Papericious. But I also use the Ranger tool as well as the jumbo foam daubers from Tsukineko. -Jill

hey Jill! Can i use Spectrum Noir Markers for this technique? love all your cards
@jillianavery828 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for watching and for your kind words! I've never used the Spectrum Noir Markers myself, but I believe they are an alcohol based marker which I do not recommend for this technique. Tombow Dual Brush Pens, Memento Markers, and Distress Markers are most commonly used and recommend for coloring directly onto your stamps. Hope this helps! Happy stamping!
@angiequinones38068 жыл бұрын
Yes jill thanks for responding to my question.am going to need to buy some new markers or use the ink pad on a block and a paint brush,and use it that way. Thank you
