What a great introduction in MS Whiteboard! I already knew it from a friend who has it on his Surface Laptop Studio but haven’t used it myself…Until I installed it yesterday on my iPad Mini…love it 😊! Any change you’ll make a comparison between MS Whiteboard and OneNote? To me it seems they both offer almost the same functionality and I’m curious what the differences are and in what kind of use cases you’ll choose one or the other…

Thank you! Your question about OneNote and Whiteboard is excellent. They do have some overlap in terms of their ability to use drawing to capture and share information. Whiteboard is more of a shared space for presenting and building ideas. OneNote is more like a journal or notebook for capturing and organizing ideas (which you can also share). It might be a good video for me to create. Thank for watching and taking the time to comment!

Ex-pat in KL, Malaysia here. Lots of good info in your video, tqvm. I started using both Apple Freeform and MS-Whiteboard 6-months ago on iPad, both are great products and both have strengths and weaknesses. Freeform is not cross-platform, of course, and Whiteboard _seems_ not to allow much text manipulation (that I can find) ie align text, centering text and rotating a text box. Am I missing something wrt Whiteboard text, please?

Sadly, this is indeed a weakness of the Microsoft Whiteboard - text. It's something I hope they will address in the future.

Hi, I have just downloaded this and am keen to start using it in my classroom as I do not have an up to date interactive whiteboard. On my iPad app it is not coming up with follow me? Where do I find this? Thanks!

Are you logged into a School or Business account? The follow me feature is nice, but your audience will see what’s on your screen even without it. Follow me just makes them follow you and doesn’t allow them to navigate on their own.
