Finally a no nonsense approach. I just got my Maker 3 at the end of July, haven't used it much but every channel I've come across with a couple of exceptions spends 15 minutes talking about thoughts and feelings before they even get to the project or spending 15 minutes trying to upsell their subscription site. I appreciate people making a living but it seems like click bait. Or I'm being judgey.

Great job young lady! I’m actually a full time RVer and I tint RVs. I recently bought a pricey graphtec plotter and would love to add this to my business. RVers love ti add personalized decals to their rigs. My concern now is the cutting blade. I’m gonna likely have to switch it every time I’m cutting window tint and vinyl and recalibrate the plotter. Which is not great cause I have it dialed in perfectly for tint now. Hmm.. is there any way to make this easier?? But great vid! That’s so much for the help. All that fit in 8 minutes. To the point! Love it!

I used to buy Frisco but I found that it was TOO sticky and getting my vinyl off of it was a pain. I always had to stick it all over my clothes to make it less sticky. Maybe they changed it over the years.

You do not need a LLC. You can register as a sole proprietor and get an EIN # from the IRS website. I went to the town hall and registered as a home office, sole proprietor, I think. Most people don't even do that though they just post stuff online. @@FUNNYMANERICWHITE

You could apply it to the car but I wouldn't want to because I would be afraid of the paint fading around the sticker. Then if you take the sticker off someday your paint might look bad.

First time viewer So my question is im going to start my daughters a summer job selling a funny car bumper sticker.. but i dont want it to be one that sticks and its impossible to come off. I have a design in place. But what should i do about printing and where should i go.. and would it be expensive

Thanks for watching! Are you heart set on it being a bumper sticker? I prefer window decals because there's no risk of it damaging the paint. Even with a removable sticker on the paint, after a while the sun could probably cause the paint to fade around it. Do you have a Cricut?

It sounds like the kind you bought is too sticky. Next time, before you stick it to the vinyl, stick it all over your clothes. The lintier, the better. Then when you stick if to the vinyl it won't be too sticky. Right now, I would recommend folding it flat back like against the table when you peel it. So not peeling upwards, but flat back, if that makes sense. Slowly wiggle it side to side as you pull back. You can use your finger to help peel the vinyl down. Good luck!

Hello. I purchased the same transfer tape that you are using. I have a question about the gridlines on the transfer tape. I tried to line the decal up with the gridlines but it was off some. Do you place a message in your order to let your customer know that they should not use the gridline as a guide?

I'd love to know, too. It really depends how much work you put into advertising. I see people on Tiktok selling political car decals like hotcakes! But I'm sure they're doing paid advertising and lives and constantly posting new content to get their product out there. A lot of people think just because they know how to make a product and post it to etsy that they'll make bank but so much of that has to do with how well you know how to advertise. Social media is everything.

I made some with Joyeza sticker paper which I typically love and they looked like crap after the first rain. I made a logo with the waterproof sticker paper by Cricut at the same time that's still on my car and looks perfect. Oracle 651 vinyl also works great for car window decals

Hello! You can definitely get a great machine within that price range. I would recommend getting a bundle from the Maker series. They cut faster and more materials than the Explore Air 2 models. I personally use the Cricut Maker in all my videos. They have a bundle with just about everything you would need to get started for $219 cricut.pxf.io/Nkx2DV . If you wanted to go a little over budget you could get this Maker 3 bundle for $329. The Maker 3 is the newer model of the Maker which can cut without a mat and longer projects. I would probably go with the Maker 3 bundle if you could afford it cricut.pxf.io/jr7J3P

In 2024, I would suggest not buying a Cricut. Everyone has one and all ideas seem overdone. I see no return on investment at all AND the machines are not as easy to use as they appear. $300 plus is a decent amount of money to waste. I wish I had never purchased mine.

@@FUNNYMANERICWHITE the Cricut doesn't make stickers, it cuts them out. You buy printable vinyl, print your stickers out in an inkjet printer and then your Cricut cuts them out. There's a learning curve but that's why there's channels like this one to learn on. Watch some tutorials and see what you can make.
