Finally! Nobody talks about the dangers of using a laser engraver. I have an xTool S1 with enclosure but it was poorly designed and allows for fumes to leak into your work area, therefore you should only use your engraver on an extremely well ventilated area. Thank you for talking about this.

Are you able to use this on the metal or plastic on the vehicles great video as well
@Cricuter

Yes, it'll stick fine to metal and plastic. I just worry about the sun fading the paint around where the decal is. If you leave it on the car's paint for a year or two and then remove it, the paint could look discolored where the sticker was.

Xtool m1 ultra would that be better to buy than the wecreat?
@Cricuter
@Cricuter Күн бұрын
That's a tough one to answer! They're both great machines. The WeCreat has the 40w option which is twice as powerful and can cut through thicker materials faster. It also has the 2w IR laser module if you want to engrave shiny metal, jewelry type things. The xTool m1 ultra is more like a Cricut machine, with the ability to cut vinyl, HTV, all kinds of stuff. If you don't already own a Cricut machine, then I would go with the xTool m1 ultra. Plus the printer head is awesome on that machine. But if you already have a Cricut, I would be more drawn to the WeCreat for the bigger motor/IR module.

I’m going to be picky here - nothing personal to you or HTVront. The words “iron on” can be interrupted as something cheap that the customer could buy at Walmart and do their own shirt. In my opinion, iron on devalues the quality (iron on material doesn’t last) which in turn, devalues the price of our product. We use commercial grade HTV and commercial grade equipment. That implies better quality which justifies the higher costs compared to a product purchased at Walmart and applied with a regular iron. As stated above - don’t sell “iron on” products if you want repeat customers. Disappointed customers will spread the word.

Hello! I think they're both great machines, but the 40w has double the power so it's faster and can cut through thicker materials. I usually recommend the 40w rotary and conveyor package, and then buying the booster fan for ventilation. shrsl.com/4skhb

the only down fall that is notice about wecreat is the laser only fires one way, not like the others lasers that fire both ways, which means by firing only from left to right, it takes more time to do a job.

I don't understand why you use weld when you could use unite instead? If you used unite, you could just have copied the first design and not have to get the heart again and the text would be the right font right away in the correct size. Also you can make faster multiples by copying i.e Sierra to customize the same desing in no time to Barret or any other name instead.

One thing I’ve learned on your vids, other vids and from personal experience is parents and grandparents will spend money on their kids / grand kids! My brother has 10 grandkids and it amazes me how much Christmas and birthdays cost! An adult may hold off on a $25 purchase for themselves but won’t think twice about $25 for a special child. It looks like a $5 personalized product will bring in 3x to 4x the material cost. Good vid.

You wouldn't really need a care card instruction for car window decals, just how to apply them. If the vinyl decal was going on something like a cup I would definitely say something like No Dishwashing, handwash only, etc. But once it's on the car there's not anything you can do.

I love the idea of a hand held press BUT it concerns me that pressure is something that really can’t be managed. I say this because I used to use a “real” heat press. It was a 15x15 industrial press. I focused on larger orders t-shirts then. Now that I’m going to back into the biz, t-shirts will not be the main focus. Do you think this press or the Cricut version would be ok for smaller orders i.e. 12 or less? I’d also like to do DTF. Have you used this for DTF or plastisol transfers? Thanks for the vid. This type of press would be so much easier to use and put away. My previous press was 80+!• lbs also I wasn’t able to tuck it away in the closet when I wasn’t using it. I typically used Siser Easy weed. TY
@Cricuter
@Cricuter 5 күн бұрын
Hello! I wouldn't use this on anything I planned to sell. You're right, traditional heat presses are big and bulky, but you can't beat the results. I like to press my shirts hard enough so that you can see the grains of the fabric (if that makes sense) showing through. I've struggled to achieve that with any auto heat press or handheld heat press. This is great for beginners just getting started with HTV projects, or if you wanted something to use at craft fairs. But for a real t-shirt business I would get a good heat press.

This Heat Press is NOT heavy. I am a woman and didn't have any problem taking it out the box. She probably just wanted to include her husband in the video. BTW, she didn't show that it comes with 4 suction cup stands to keep from scarring up your table, etc.

That's pretty funny. I have almost 300 videos on my channel and my husband has maybe been in 1 or 2 videos, and it's only been to help me lift up something heavy. The Cricut adds registration marks to your paper before it prints it out. Basically 4 little L brackets in the corners. Then it does it's measuring magic to figure out exactly where to cut.

Hey, I have a question and I'm highly confused. I just got a Cricut Maker 3 last week and haven't opened it. I've been looking around tutorials on how to make stickers. But, when you print out your stickers, how is it stickers if it's just printed out? Like, the paper just being regular paper, but when putting it into the machine, it cuts the images out and it's already a sticker. I'm confused about this and don't understand. I'm sorry to bother you, I just need help with a better understanding. 😅 I'm new to owning the machine and learning about how to do this stuff.
@Cricuter
@Cricuter 18 күн бұрын
Hello! You actually need to purchase printable vinyl, not regular paper. It's basically blank sheets of sticker paper that you print your design onto using an inkjet printer. Then you load that paper onto your Cricut mat and the machine cuts out the shapes. Hope that helps! This is my favorite printable sticker paper: amzn.to/4goC97R

@Cricuter Ohhh, that clears it up. So I would need to get printable sticker paper sheets before printing out anything. Thank you so much! Next question, even after I print out the images onto the sticker paper; can I use those holographic vinyl over the printed stickers? Like how others do when they apply and get the air bubbles out. I know this will be trial and error when I get started, but I still appreciate all the help I can get. 😄
