Create Fomulas in SE16H: SAP S4HANA Demo

We can create formulas and get the results directly in transaction SE16H. In this video, I created a formula in table BSEG to calculate the age of cleared documents at the time of clearing.

Why is the reference field mandatory? I don't understand why putting the days in arrears as reference if we want to calculate the days between the invoice posting and the cutomer payment/clearing. Nice one btw. Did not know about this functionality.

Whenever we define a table field in any system we have to define the nature of the field ( is it a number? a text? a date? and so on). Here we give SAP a reference field to define the nature of the new field, not to copy the value

No, it has always been available. change the settings to show the technical field names. I showed how to change the settings in the previous videos in the playlist
