Genus is recognized by its simplicity. Simple but genius. The smudge tool technic I know since late 90's but never occurred to me to make a brush like that, that will make it so easy and fast.

I'm an illustrator/artist, only been working in digital for about 2yrs & have done a few of Aaron's amazing classes.....esp the anatomy ones. He's not only a brilliant artist but also an awesome teacher, & classes are in depth but relatable. I think most artists, even beginners would follow along ok....& for those like myself who work in the industry his tips & techniques are really helpful to speed up workflow & rehash skills not used for a while. I'm now subscribed to your channel Glyn as I believe the same we can learn from each other & there's a definite crossover between what photographers & artists are doing digitally. Cheers - Michelle

Thanks Glyn, you are one of the most original and eclectic guys (that's Yank-speak for Bloke) out there and appreciate all you do for us. This video is eye opening not just for the specific technique but for for bring traditional painting techniques into PS sphere ... you two should put together a package of how painting and PS come together. Would buy that in a heartbeat.
