Hi~ thanks for you tut! But why we need to use geometry node to output the attribute "weight"? I thought we may need this weight in some cloth parameters, but i seems we only use Group to act as pin group. Anyway, learn from this and really helpful!

thaty last attribute node isn't doing anything for me, the entire thing i black so i can't make it look as if it's turning to glass, it's either fully material or fully glass depending on the color ramp

figured it out, I didn't have it set to weight paint mode when I typed "weight" for my attribute in the modifier panel so it captured nothing

How do you even figure this out? Looks fantastic btw.

i cant the see the value option in the capture attribute node, any fix?

I think you are talking about geometry nodes, so on the value tab next to the numbers, there's like a plus button (it's like a plus sign but not plus) click one that

I've had the same issue. It's because they've changed this particular node in 4.2 version. You just first gotta plug value node in empty socket of capture attribute, then unplug it (value option will still be there) and then the same with attribute

great tutorial! is it possible to use this Vellum Growth as material transition so that we have 3 textures? the "old" texture the texture for the cloth and the "new" texture? thanks!!

the capture attribute node doesn't look the same in my version of Blender (4.2), is there a way to fix this?

I'll look into ot and let you know

1. put position into grey dot on the left side and change point to face. 2. just use store named attribute which does basically the same
@RmKuman27 күн бұрын
add a extra node "store name attribute"

followed the same tutorial 3 times with different props, unable to get required results. The cloth just streches out completly and torns out. Anyway to fix this

Try to scale the object to about a meter and simulate, maybe it will fix the issue
