The plugin is cool, but I am not used to making things through some kind of gui, but I will try it for sure.

It's not 'easy' and 100% takes some getting used to. Most powerful plugins that allow you to do stuff like this, require some coding knowledge. This one doesn't and visualizes everything. That does give it quite a learning curve though but it's worth a try!

Plugins are server-exclusive, so no. But you can create a local server on your own PC, which is essentially an equivulent to a singleplayer world when you don't port forward anything.
