Create Mod Train Rollercoaster!

Ok, I installed this mod myself after your last video, and I've worked out the key conditions for the crash: - One end of the rail segment you're placing must be a 45-degree slope. This can be the new tile you're placing, or the piece you're connecting from. - The rail you're placing must go around a 90-degree turn. From North/South to East/West or vice versa. Only when both of these are satisfied will the game crash. There are some cases where this won't cause a crash, and there might be other crash cases, but this is the key annoying one. Also, to repair from this crash you only need to stop the player from looking at the offending block location when they relog. For singleplayer, using an NBT editor to adjust your position was the option I used. For multiplayer, you could simply break the block the disconnected player was looking at. Hope this helps Shalz, this mod is certainly fun to play with. I wonder what machines/automated systems could be made using this. Perhaps a Cocoa Bean Farm?

I have built steeper drops on roller coasters with tccoasters plugin and ex roller coasters mod but it's nice that you could actually get the track somewhat smooth and make it feel like a B&M dive coaster

U can check if it connects by having the F3 menu open because it shows the track networks and they are coloured so u can see when it disconnects when the color changes or hold a train signal

Try using the "not enough crashes" mod next time. It prevents the game from crashing and just moves you to the main-menu. Really useful, especially for things like this

Shalz, I don’t know if you know about this, but the “Essential” mod (its got a blue and white icon) allows you to join your friends for free on java, and allows you to use mods. It’s on both forge and fabric and works for most Minecraft versions. Just letting you know in case you don’t want to pay for a server just to play modded with other people

this is cool but if you're on a server and want to actually make cool and realistic roller coasters there's an awesome plugin called Traincarts, pair it with the plugin TC Coasters (to make invisible, node-based tracks) and trust me it's gold lol

What if u made a roller coaster that could jump from part to part, by making a fake rail above ground and the rail the coaster is actually connected to deep underground.
