Why not just use the "header" and "footer" options built in to Word. I know this is ann old video, but you could have simplified this whole process by turning on those features (which have been part of Word from the beginning.). Your design elements would have turned out exactly the same.

And I also don't understand why you would go to all this trouble to build a template, and then save it as a .docx file type. You could easily have made it a .doct file (MS Word Template).. maybe you should ignore the value of talking in these videos, as it might help us understand your thinking.... you obviously have a good command of english... a lot of text to speech engines would allow you to share your thought process without having to speak (assuming your verbal skills arent as good as your written).
