Like TODAY function in Excel, DATE function in VBA will return the current date. Store the current date into a variable using DATE function and append that variable to the end of the file name.

Try this, test it out, like an improvisation: in your client data sheet make one additional column combining &a1&" ,"&b1& the customer name with the invoice and preserving your existing columns. And when you pull your slip, you grab from the combined column customer with invoice set up on your validation list cell. I did that with client's name combined with the date of birth. When 100 client's are in line and comes in front of me, I can spot fast the date of birth next to the name when I filter it to make sure I am pulling the right client when I ask the client his birth to see if his name matches.
