I started learning blender back in 2007, and I haven’t used it in probably 6 - 7 years, but I feel like I could just jump back in. Blenders like a piano, initially getting your co-ordination with your hot keys and submenu’s is tough, but once you got it, you don’t even need to think about it anymore and you just play music.

@@thomasking9524 by your logic: if aftereffects was so awesome, who would spend 8000 on nuke? nobody. C4d does the same as blender with the same quality. It's the artist who makes the difference not the tool. If you think your art benefits so much from it then your $1000 are well spend. I also pay for substance since it is far better for texturepainting, speeded up my workflow and the quality of my work.

KEEP IN MIND: Changing the origin of the object causes the other copies to shift. 1:48L26 From what I've heard, that's very consistant with the primary Japanese animation mindset of (I'm repeating this from memory) accuracy not being important as long as it conveys your story
