This is a great method! Thanks for sharing! Just a question, what if if referencing a table header in my index and this cells move. I would like the hyperlink keeps going to the header of the table and not to the fix cell coordinate. Can I do this?

When I link to a specific cell, if I add a row, the hyperlink doesn't follow the new location of the specific cell. Is there a way to accomplish this?

why it didn't work for me when I tried to link one sheet to another sheet in same workbook? but it did work when I tried to link different workbooks...

I have followed the steps correctly, but it still doesn't work for me? I'm not getting the hyperlinks (when text turns blue underline). Could it have anything to do with the version of Microsoft Office I am using (Family & Student 2019)? Bizarrely what does happen, is when I select "create hyperlink here" it jumps to the said cell reference (ie F5) on the Table of Contents page rather than from the tab marked "First"where I dragged it from?

You can use VBA to use or else power query it can work for you.

I followed all the steps and everything happened as you explained, but in the end (after choosing the option "create a hyperlink here") nothing happened, no hyperlink was created. Sorry to know that. In a new workbook, that hasn't been saved, this hyperlink technique won't work. Can you check if the workbook was saved?
