LPG is a gas, makes sense it cant be put into a bucket, The Diesel engine Efficiency inreases with coolant and Lubrication, Not power output or speed, but since you use less diesel it does infact increase power output per input diesel.

Don't trust that Surface Scanner used to find oil. I started a new world with a base at a Woodland Mansion, after clearing it and lighting it up, that is. The surface scanner was so inaccurate I finally just dug down to bedrock maybe 150ish blocks away. I just used Spectator mode to find an oil deposit directly under the outside wall of the Mansion. That scanner never found it, and kept bouncing every time I changed locations.

@my2cents930 yeah something happened to in a few updates back and it doesn't seem to be working, not sure why but I know it has been brought up with the devs so hopefully they fix it 🤷‍♂️

i remember giving this a go when it first appeared in the last updated section , seemed cool but broke a bunch of stuff in create and it’s other addons - assuming it behaves itself now

Just looked it up and it was removed, the dev felt that having two kinds of distillation controller/tower types was confusing and simplified it. You just use the steel distillation tower with only two outputs to separate heavy oil into lubrication oil and Diesel or naphtha into propylene and ethylene

The engines all seem fairly underpowered compared to a steam engine? Seems like a lot of setup too.

Do you know why my cast iron distiller doesnt produce lubrication oil but takes the heavy oil?

Have you fed the blaze burner with coal or lava? That happens to me, and then you have to pull the out puts from the three top pieces. Hard to say without seeing your set up...

Maybe its other mods that glitch it but they are like small create addons mods so i dont know, the blaze is full alimented with lava and there is the crude oil and there are the 3 outputs, and the thing to drop the sulfur, the heavy oil stays right in place but doesnt generate anything on the outputs on top

bruh, for some reason my destilation tower is not working, i doing everything alright and still is not producing anything. The button part gets full of crude oil, but the upper part doesn't recive any fuel, lpg, or diesel. I'm using mods like Ad astra, destroy and Immersive enginnering too

I'm assuming you ate using the crude oil from TFMG not one from one of those mods? Also what version of the mod are you using?

Hey, our pumpjack is different. We went off of the thing where you hold W to ponder, and it shows a taller, disconnected pumpjack instead of your shorter, connected one with the red arrows on the base. Am I doing something wrong?

As well as this, when we place the pumpjack holder, it requires us to build it ourselves and it is not spawned in for us.

It has changed and you manually place the parts for the hammer and then glue them.

It is simply there to burn away excess fluids, other then that it doesn't have a purpose. If you are trying to just get a certain few exports from the distilling process then you can just burn the others away to not have to store or manage them for example.

Item rarity is from loot beams, and the achievement description is advancement plaques

Can you be more specific? it is working fine for me. Does your set up look just like the ponder menu? (for example I had forgotten the very top layer of steel tanks and didn't work until my tower was 13 tall)

This is from 0.6.0e, I believe they are on version 0.8.0b currently so a fair bit has changed. Been planning on doing an update that shows the changes but haven't gotten around to it yet

@Sweet_Clod thanks for the feedback, and yes I've made a lot of changes in the last 6 months to fix this. Still adjusting and learning, but this video was a good turning point for me and my mic setup thanks to feedback I got like this so I honestly really appreciate it!

Partial cause I record after my kids go to bed so I'm tired and partially that is how my voice normally is. But I'm working on adding inflections and such, been getting better since this video and have a long way to go. Hopefully I'll get there ha 😁
